First Hour Of GT6

Well this is something we really have in common.
I'm gonna get my 1,000,000Cr from Amazon, and just hope that I can make enough money racing in my online room to finance my online career.
I really want to keep my "Game Progress" at 0%. Screw the AI!!!
Luckily I'm all about the slow, and cheap 400pp to 450pp street cars.
OMG I can't wait!
I will do remote racing if I have to, I can do that from my office computer. I just hope that is still around.
God I hate trying to drive past those AI zombies.
I never thought of that:idea: I just hope there aren't any cars that are only unlocked by ASpec that I really want. If it's possible to do, I might just set that as a goal of my own. I see a club in the making here:idea:

I Have think about this also, "what if I only race online and all my earnings came from online races"
This can be a real "Human Drama"
There got to be some rules though....

Is there more people up to it?

Now that I think about it, it would be nice if there was a formal "Online Career Mode" where you weren't even allowed to run A or BSpec races as part of that career and along with it maybe came exclusive lobbies and as a minimum, some kind of tag beside your name saying you were doing Online Career Mode. Of course all the cars unlocked in ASpec would also have to be incorporated somehow into the Online Career perhaps for passing milestones in Wins, Win%, Podiums, #of Races Entered, % of Races Finished, Career Earnings etc. And perhaps certain milestones like running a 1 hour online enduro at the 'Ring, 2 hours of Spa etc.

This is such a brilliant idea I'm going to make a separate thread about it!!

I will go through and look at every premium car and manufacturer list to see if PD left something out. Then I will look at the standards ( whatever they will be called) to see if I'm satisfied with their "upgrades". Then I will pick a random car to get on a track to look at the graphics and anti-aliasing as that is my biggest pet peeve(jaggies). That way I have all the biggest things that will disappoint me out of the way. Then I will play and OCD about smaller details as I hopefully enjoy the game. I am crazy, leave me alone. :) you should see me with my real vehicles haha

Enter my pre-order codes, take the Ford GT40 A.E. and race on Willow Springs in the Quick Race mode.
Then, I'll go to the career mode and start with Sunday Cup on my Alpine A110.

I plan on buying the first GT6 'Debut' car I see, wanting to try out a car that hasn't been used in the GT series so far, (Not including concepts), then heading straight for one of the new tracks.

I'll just go with the flow really.

There are so many things we don't know about the game (carreer mode, livery, photomode, costumization, course maker, etc) that it's almost impossible to say exactly what to do in the 1st hour of gameplay.

most likely whats going to happen:

I pre-ordered so im going to whip out the R18 anniversary and do a couple hundred laps on whatever seasonal or similar events we have day one that pays big. Then ill buy the R18 TDI and probably never leave my room

I'm with this guy. I have this coming in the mail next week http://www.ebay.com/itm/PLAYSEAT-PR...339?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item58a11a0dfb
and all I want to do is turn on the game, grab a beer and finally be comfy while racing. I'll get to everything but just start up and go with the flow. 1st car? Always an old miata, by now it's tradition...

Get my preorder bonus, buy some fast cars. And then go to Mazda Laguna Seca to see if it has been getting the same love as Autumn Ring had in the demo, I know its a real track and Autumn isn't, but the lights and atmosphere at Autumn Ring just felt so much more alive in the GTA Demo, than in GT5. After a few laps im gonna go online screaming "Bring it Bi****" :D knowing i probably will get my a** kicked

My first hour? maybe drive the SRTViper! Grant its open in arcade mode and the R18 as well which i dought

after the loading and patch downloads etc, I'll go straight into the dealerships and have a look at the new premium beauties, then check out how good the standard cars look.

I usually cruise menus, change settings, etc.. but I'm sure an older supercar at SSR7 will be required to check out the new nighttime lighting of GT6.

I'll take the oldest Lotus Esprit in the game for 500, Alex. :mischievous:

The sounds will make me fall asleep in less than one hour... just kidding :)
Oh wait, that's true :banghead:

Sigh due to being late to the party, my old Launch PS3 has stopped playing PS3 games, so I've missed basically every game that's come out this year. Should be getting a new one soon though.

Anyway, my first hour will most likely be Ogling the new Premiums in the Showroom, then testing out the course maker and hoping your created tracks aren't blocked from split screen like they were post 1.06 (I think). Actually, were they ever unblocked?

1) Patch
2) Set controls
3) Check the dealership for new cars
4) buy the cheapest car possible
5) Start "golding" all the licenses
