If you follow the steps then you should get it as intended. Its a new method of setting up a trans for me so I just wrote it in the order that I did it in, I'm aware that the described numbers will not be the final numbers.
you do know that adjust the top speed slider after you set the gears resets them to the same values as setting the FG and setting the top speed right?

Ok mate. I didn`t have to change the ratios at all tho? Its just final drive to 3.000 max speed to 149? If your first gear is at 5.332 then its all good! 👍

@Slender_Man I`m getting 374bhp and 508pp on your street racers STi tune. I think you changed the oil as 374+5%=393hp as stated in your tune. Can you have a look please?

sure thing I will check as soon as i get online 👍

Whose idea was it for me to test street racers? Been "playing" GT6 now for 3 hours and still haven`t driven anything yet!!!! I`m quite looking forward to stowe now!!! Much respect to ALL testers past/present/future.

3 hours? Wow...makes you miss the shared car feature from GT5. That saved loads of time when Hami and Biffa would build all of the tunes and pass them around to the testers.

I have a feeling we are going to be down two evo's Mrgrado and Jackwilson have not been in the thread senice they signed up :( for the challenge and we lost julies and backnforth in pro spec / street tuners. so will save you a bit of time there.

I'm pretty much done with the scoring sheet just trying to make a fastest lap bit work learning array formulas on the fly FTW! :irked::drool: makin my head hurt.

@Slender_Man Hate to do this to but a global rule for the challenge was no oil changes. can you re work it quick? Moved your tune to the chassis reinformcent section

Hami *or who ever hosted* still needed to spend the time, but it was only once done they where done so still miss it. PD I WANT CAR SHARE!

I have reworked the tune to comply with the no oil change rule. I have had to add a Catalytic Convertor to bring it back closer to the original BHP/PP output 👍
I tested the same tune without the oil change and it felt worse than it did with it. Adding the new part brought it back the the same feel... Hope this is still ok as it's within the Tuner Deadline...

I am being very slow!! First time tester and I`m at least double checking everything, then getting a text from the wife, forgeting where I am then checking it all again!!
Sounds like a sound plan to me. Don't forget to check tham again when you switch tracks.

Thank you sir. Glad you didn't have to over haul the tune too much.

Ah the measure twice, cut once rule, nice call!👍
Agreed, and people are going to need to do it twice and check the tires :)

@Otaliema you may be down a few tuners but still one heck of a turnout. More than Hot Hatch I believe.
Agreed great turn out. just a lot of work on the spread sheet. oye!

The month passed much quicker than I expected. My tune is only 3/4 of the way complete. But lack of time management and being too sick to drive I'll post what I have and hope it's good enough. I only did a few laps on Streets of Willow, it won't be the fastest there but it shouldn't be uncontrollable. Here goes:

Feel better soon man. Your the second guy down ill in this challenge.
Your all linked up in the tuners post. sleep well

I shall be checking everything again before I test each car at each track just to make sure i`ve made the correct specified change!

Just a piece of advice...keep good notes and write your scores/reviews down when you get done testing that particular car. I always seem to find myself in a mess of papers trying to sort through it before posting results. The wife says I have "issues" but I say I'm still putting together notes for future tunes!

Thats some good advice right there! I had a practice testing the tunes in the difficult car thread last month so i`m not going in stone cold! I shall be making notes straight to the lap top this time because that way i dont have to decifer my own handwriting!

My wife tells me I have"issues" all the time, was that a female only class in high school?

1. The PP figure is unreachable

2. Unsure what parts you have fitted? As I understand it you have :-

Stage 1 Engine Tuning / Mid-RPM Turbo kit / Intake Tuning = 480 pp/ 315 bhp/ 47 kgfm/ 3.65 bhp/kg Power Limiter at 93.1% <------ (must be 95%+ to meet regulations)

3. Have you done an oil change on the car at any point? These are banned in FITT competitions due to the +5% power gain.

I think I know what the power problem is. ps=cv which is larger than bhp which is larger than a hp. The size difference is small .112387 or something like that not much right? Multiply that 315 times and suddenly it's 5-10 up/bhp I don't have time to convert hp to ps ATM can some one get a conversation posted? Thank you
