Can someone please go look at the Pro Spec page on the sheet and cross check my work please. I think I have it all messed up. But I may not.
Quick link Here
Thank you in advvance.

I think i see a spelling error. Convereted (should be converted?) I gotta say, that spreadsheet looks fairly complex and I think you have done the calculations correctly based on where it is looking for the raw data. As I only have one review, I can't see (myself) how the data links to other reviews (and subsequent scores) when they are factored in. I can only assume you have tested that and it works okay.

This is the test driving results for the Pro Spec Class for the STi Vs Evo Battle Royal

Impressions of the tune; This was a good tune was a little tight, but it did what you told it to when you told it even on the dirt. The 60 some odd HP it was short from class limit helped allot on the dirt kept the wheel spin under control. But it ended up hurting it on the tarmac. Also a reduced top speed on the transmission would have helped it out. I rarely if ever used 6th gear on the car.

Impressions of the tune; This car was well balanced but had this odd over/understeer thing going, some corners it would oversteer like a mad man others it would understeer like it had no rubber on the front tires. TLOR was very prevalent in this tune and was a great way to correct the understeer, but in the same breath it made the oversteering corners very difficult to get through. If I got the entry spot on this car would just blast the corners to pieces, but it would send me in the wall or the dirt if I missed the entry even by a little. The Mid range turbo gave this car a huge power band that was extremely useful on the dirt and tarmac.

Impressions of the tune; You can definitely tell that this tuned for dirt it was a dream to drive there. I got it on the pavement and it got interesting, it would slide into corners and oversteer out of them. Getting the entry right was tricky but if I did, it was fast. I know a 1:09 is in the car. I think maybe the transmission is a bit short here, it gets to redline at the end of the back straight but it’s way out of power band so it’s losing a lot of power by than. I would still take this tune to a tarmac track and have a grand time it was a blast to drive just quirky on the pavement. If you can tame it you will go fast.

This car was odd it was twitchy and did what you told it to do. It liked to float around the track, good turn in and exit grip but very light in the mid corner grip department this really hurt on the dirt when I would just slide out. I could not turn under braking while on dirt, but the BLOR was done well so I could break very late “crank the wheel” lift off and snap the tail around.

Impressions of the tune; This is another car tuned for the dirt like @Motor City Hami it was fast as stink there and dream to drive, a bit floaty but once i got that down it ate the track for breakfast and asked for seconds. It was a totally different animal on the tarmac, conic understeer at speed and severe oversteer at slow speed made getting this car around the track a fight. All in the same breath on the pavement this car was tight loose oversteering understeering monster that would punish you for the smallest slight in your technique. The Cross eye host of the challenge missed the torque split change for the tarmarc -_-. I took the car back out with the correct tarmac settings. The cronic under/oversteer pretty much went away. It had LOUS *lift off understeer* and power oversteer with the corecct settings. This made a world of difference with the car it became a very good car on the tarmac. It was still floaty at high speed and liked to try and fish out if I smashed the gas but I was able to put a very nice lap together with it.

This is a hot lap tune, it’s unforgiving but very quick, it compromises between the tracks well making it not fantastic on dirt or the tarmac but did very well on both. It was loose very loose compared to the other cars I think maybe some more downforce on the tail would have helped it stay in place better. This car was the fastest car of the group hitting near 230 km/h at willow and near 190 km/h at Eiger, But all the speed came at a price of long braking zones and little recovery chance if you cooked an entry.
The review is appreciated. I'd like to think the tune had a little something to do with toy getting the fastest lap but the truth is I hated tuning this car. I couldn't get any kind of feedback through the racing tires. I think that shows through the drivers choice score lol.

Very good car , well balanced, The only moment it don´t stay on the line is when releasing the brakes on corner entry. You need to compense with the wheel but it mess a bit with the perfect line to apex. I think it´s due to ARB 4/2. a 2/4 balance resolve this. Very nice drive on Tsukuba but you need some laps to understand the way it work on corner entry.

Perfect balance , perhaps too safe in some occasions where a better eagerness can pay . Need to be more aggressive on corner entry in my opinion, allowing a bit more rotation and a free rear end.

The car shows a perfect balance for a car with no front ballast. It just can´t pass as fast in the medium and high speed corners, camber even low value don´t help for the grip. Out of this it´s a very good car reacting well to all yours inputs.

I love this car , you can print on the road all what you want the car to do, very easily In ,mid and out corner are perfect. Very easy to go fast.

On GVS the car is a bit unstable under strong braking for the first turn. The RH + low springs are making free the weight transfer and you need to be very sharp on your driving input to not loose the line and the speed.

Congrats.

Excelent car, the `96 model allow a ballast of 88kg on the rear, this is the max allowed by the shootout rurles and it give a 51/49 weight repartition. The result is a car very responsive on corner entry , you need to maintain it on the line and counter steer to don´t pass this line to not slow the speed of the car. This is a wonderfull toy like this, the only point is the out corner , the car don´t have a perfect projection , perhaps due to the front LSD value???!!! .Very good job Mr Krenkme, congratulations.

Most of the settings are going against the car increasing understeer. In , mid and out corner. LSD , Brake balance , springs and mostly the front ballast position -12.

The result is a car that don´t want to grab the line and it loose time all sectors. The 5 speed gearbox also is loosing acceleration out corner comparing to the 6 gears.

Sorry .

Perfect balance, perhaps too neutral on GVS , could be a good option to play with TOE and ARB ??? to induce some kind of eagerness with throttle and help some weight transfer in slow corners.

The torque 44/56 really help a lot on Tsukuba whee the car become very alive out corner with an excellent retake. Very good, I´ve enjoyed a lot my test.

@brian wolf On your Lan Evo Super rally car can you add in your inital final gear to your transmission instructions? I figured it out but will save some headache for future testers. its 6.000
The Tune Database still wont let me save changes!! Still says server error. I`ve tried some of my other tunes and they are the same. @xande1959 probably has the same issue. ??

will get back to running this challenge in about 1 hour.....:D

I will update the spreadsheet with the new times from @praiano63

@suspension
On your street racer evo IX the power limiter setting does not match :

POWER: Stage 2 Engine Tuning/ Sports Computer/ High-RPM Turbo/ Power Limiter 90.3% = 515pp, 391bhp, 54kgfm, 2.97 kg/bhp

To make 515pp power limiter is at 98.4% = 399bhp 2.91kg/bhp

Is this ok? or are there tuning parts missing?
no problem. sorry about that

times have been input from @praiano63
there is a 3 way tie in DC for 3rd atm. will see if this levels out as more lap times are posted, other wise i'm gonna need a new way to find and display them lol it's blanking out the 4th and 5th postions. lol
Technically, a 3 way tie would be the 3rd, 4th and 5th place, 6th would come next. The tie would show the top 5.

Very true. I've got an idea in the event of a tie for DC or lap time. I hope I don't have to work it out. cause the formulas to find duplicates and post them are pains in the #&$! to use and take up loads of space for the grid they need. granted i already have the space in use for the fastest lap it's just makeing it work. :banghead:

Hi all. Unfortunately i'm going to have to bow out of testing this time around. Had planned at the start to have most of it done by now, and i've tested 1 car!! The world cup will be taking up my evenings from tomorrow. I was going to test the Pro Spec rally as there are only the 2 of us down to test but having had a go on the dirt, my skills are not sufficient enough to offer any kind of worthwile feedback (a full 4 seconds off Otaliema's times, with frustration a very visible emotion, says the missus!!). Best of luck to you all.
