My tune I haven't driven is almost ready xD
My tune I haven't driven is almost ready xD
I can give it a spin for you if you like
Well if that's alright by the rules and regs, that would be great
NEWDRIVER's got it on share.
Ridox2JZGTEAw, thank you I'll pretend to be a Best Motoring test driver
Another question to DB, should I run the test with my own preferred BB or tune's BB ? I'm fine either way, but for better reflection of my driving and best possible time, my own BB would be best and comments about the tune would be more accurate. Of course ,tuners should have no issue as my time is only for reference, right ?
XDesperado67If I'm not to late I'd like to try and get a car entered for this.
Must apologize to everyone for my disappearance, lot of stuff going on for me (most of it not good) and just haven't had the motivation to run GT5.Hopefully this will help cure some of my blues.
NEWDRIVER2I want ask that we are runing our cars in Cape Ring ??? Or another Cape Ring not in my track list .
I saw praiano post lap time 2:37.xxx or 2:36.xxx but me i can get high 2:45.xxx or 2:44.xxx . So i am very slow and my car slowest .
Sorry i know that this question asked before but ??
ugabugazI'm sure it is, but just to make sure, Is it allowed, Mr. Tuning Competition Host Person Sir?
Also..err which car is it?

Since your results are ultimately just informational you could try a few laps with the tune as is and a few with your settings for BB.
Here is my entry. The picture is what it is, just a standard car by a standard photograph .
The tune is ONLINE OK but it's only good for this kind of tracks, where you throw the car from one full grip to the other, at the limit all the time. It's not good for precision and sharp driving line like on the Nordschleife. I have another tune for this that i'll publish soon.
Enjoy your drive.
Is the Nissan the fastest for you, Praiano?
ugabugazTook a bunch of cars for a spin, because why not. Only remember 1 of the top of my head, I'll post the rest later.
NEWDRIVER - 1:39.4XX - Lovely gold car.
Ridox2JZGTEThank you DB, I'll do 5 laps with tuner's BB and another 5 with my preferred BB. I will also make a thorough review for each, hopefully the result would be very useful for tuners.
What sort of result format would you like me to present ? Time and comments ? I don't need to give any score, right ? since my test are just informational.
Are you running the right track, uga? Your time should be another minute higher...give or take.
3) Ridox's Mullet Mobile - 2:46.618
I was really curious as to how you did in the brakes department this time around, hence why I tested your car. During my entire drive I was convinced the car had a slight rear bias - much to my surprise BB was high and front biased. Lovely brake balance that allows the back to lock on demand and rotate car. Only problem with the brakes is that they don't seem to work. This car has huuuge braking distance. Perhaps because it goes so fast? See if you can reduce brake distance. Other stuff, it's a bit wild under full throttle, see if you can reduce that. Car doesn't like high speed corners (big understeer), and many times when I tried to turn at any mid to high speed corner my DS3 would vibrate. Car doesn't like turning - It still turns but it doesn't like doing it. I think you've done a good job considering the stock car probably isn't all that...sophisticated.
.Done - hope this helps.
ugabugazI put a 1 instead of 2..Woops And yes Cape Ring.
So as promised I have some times and comments. Initially I was only going to do the airplane car but...I wanted more so, here you go Tunas.
1) NEWDRIVER2 - 2:39.489 - HSC
Car is ready to go in my opinion. I can't really find anything wrong with it at all. Perhaps make it a tad more stable for testers, for me though it's great. Job well done, good luck in the competition.
2) trackripper's Batmobile HSR-II - 2:43.634
Funny but I was considering tuning this car as well. I had a rough tune going but then I decided to scrap it because it just wasn't fast enough. Your car is great at power delivery but it's very understeery. It plows into corners - I experienced the same thing with mine. Experiment with ballast. I found for my car adding weight to the back reduced understeer considerably. See if it helps you as well.
.Done - hope this helps.
Thank you for the test and the time . you record faster time than me in my car by 5 min 👍
But for trakripper i think you can make more because my time on his car 2:44.xxx so at least you can did 2:41.xxx maybe . And also not that though much understeer on it or maybe because i am on wheel . I don't know ??? But thank you Sir 👍 its just remote tune
ND
Can only get my Honda NSX-R Concept '01 up to 544PP. Will this car still be competitive? I really do like the NSX.
ugabugazI can upload the ghost laps/vids for all 3 laps if that would be helpful.
No need to upload video mate i'm just saying you are faster than me and this is good time thats all . Thank you Sir 👍
ugabugazI meant more for the HSR-II car but they are all available, and I can just do ghost lap file (not the video- or if you want the video). So you can see what I mean by plowing understeer
Let my Citroen GT loose on the Tsukuba 9HR to hopefully do some break in. I have a feeling I'll need to run that race several times before the car is fully ready to go.
That would be useful for me to see, as I haven't driven it and have no idea how the damn car drives.
unless its already spoken for it looks like i'll be entering a nuvolari quattro '03.
Doubt it will win lap times as its speed down the front stretch is a bit low, but liking the way it handles on the rest of the track. Luckily i had two of them in my garage since i messed up the first one with a stage 1 weight reduction then found out i couldn't get back down to 550pp under the regs.

Initially I had planned to, but then saw that lineR32 was entering one and started looking for something else. The CZ-3 only goes up to 532PP, the Hyundai HCD6 and Isuzu 4200R only reach about 500PP. The FX45 and Range Stormer are fun but very slow as is the Silverado SST which I almost went with anyways just because its a TRUCK!Y U NO REVIVE 525PP PIKES PEAK QUATTRO?!
caps.
crap double post.[/fail]
