As someone new to the thread wanting to build a tune for this, how would I go about finding out which cars have been "reserved" so to speak?

If what I gathered is right, only 2 of each car can be entered, first come first serve, but people are reaching a gentlemans agreement of sorts to call dibs. Problem atm is anyone just entering the thread would have to read 8 pages to check what all has had dibs called on it so far.

Edit: I presume the Furai was intentionally left out?

Well, someone should PM DB with a list so far or something, but as it is, the NSXs are all taken, I've got one of the two slots for the Viper, there's one HSC left along with a Camaro IROC Z. And you have Praiano's R34.5. The Suzuki's are all taken…and I'm not sure about everything else.

I think that's the list so far…and yes, I'd think that was the case too. For obvious reasons.

Dodge Viper GTS-R- 1 left
Suzuki GXR/4- 0 left

All the others aren't touched, but this is all off the top of my head.

I want to be a tester as well, a guest tester, I'll be testing with no ABS, to make things fair, my test results and comments are for references only

I just took my IROC Z online earlier today, it tried to kill me in every corner, looks like more tuning necessary

Haha, I had the supercharger put back in, I want more powaaar and get close to 550pp, it made the rear so unstable when pushed too hard in every corner online. I might need to tune the wheel alignment again for online, would it work offline too ?? The car work well offline as it is ... I am confused now ... oh by the way Onboy, I saw you love sideways action too

If you want 550PP over night, just run the GVS 300KM while you sleep/go out for some food, and when you're back, you've got a few more ponies in the engine. As I said in that room, cars used to understeer if it was an online setup used offline…but I'm not too sure if that's changed. Just focus on offline for now.

Which one, the controlled sliding from the Viper or the blinding smoke screen from that lump of pig iron that's known as a Charger?

As I said in that room, cars used to understeer if it was an online setup used offline…but I'm not too sure if that's changed. Just focus on offline for now.

I don't think it can get any higher , I bought the car from OCD long ago ... so whatever it has now, that's the break in power ...or is it ?

I saw you always sliding on both 180 degrees hairpins on every car, can't wait to go full power

Well, since you have got all the parts, go to mygranturismo (not sure if its like that or with a "d" on the end of "gran") and check the stats of your car at max hp in the search.

Ohh…that bit. No, it's just that, after seeing Clarkson do that in a ZR-1 'vette on TG's US trip to Utah, I decided that such an awesome image needed to be recreated and promptly booted the loud pedal. Smoke and hooting ensued.

Edit: According to said site, with all parts installed, you should end up with 637 with break in. Though I do take that last bit for granted so don't quote me on it.

Just went to my garage, put all mods in, 637 hp, 576pp, so my IROC Z is fully broken in , I can somehow make it 550pp without breaking 95% limiter rule, not sure if it will drive well. Removing SC will yield 54xpp

But it helps if it meets the 550PP limit, no? It currently doesn't, and the fully tuned numbers are just a benchmark to see if the car is broken in or not.

Sorry guys, I can make it 550pp now, need more fiddling, and this car can't be fitted with a wing - bummer

Adding more ballast would be detrimental to the handling, it already has close to 1300kg ..

Going to experiment with full ballast, and see if goes faster ... even with lowest weight it can only get high 2:4x.xxx


EDIT : Finally some enlightenment from the God of Speed, somehow I can cram in the SC, get 550pp and still hook up to the tarmac like without SC well almost, it can drift smoothly in a whim or grip like a gel The car has better turn in now, better acceleration, decent top speed and marvelous brakes ( higher BB ) while still drivable. The A Team IROC Z is halfway done and it's on share.

I honestly haven't been keeping track but it looks like Onboy did a good job or going through the thread. I will add the list to the front and try to keep it updated as best I can.

And yes, the Furai was kept out on purpose.

Just to clarify, the car need not be exactly 550PP, it just cannot go OVER that number. If you're sitting at 549PP it isn't a problem. If you want to toss in the Daihatsu, feel free!

I initially wanted to use the Kusabi, just a shame it wouldn't be competitive AT ALL.

OK, I think I have everything added to post 2 now regarding who is tuning what. So far I don't see that we have more than two people trying to use the same car, which is great. 👍 Again, I will try to keep it updated but I will keep the last "checked" post on the list so consult after that for any changes.
