Okay. Let me explain my rationale behind my decision.

As @coryclifford mentioned, @fordracer posted a tune in haste which was incomplete as I had to chase him for information and clarification on other sections of his tune as it wasn't easy to follow. I PM'd @fordracer, of which I won't go into details, but I mentioned that as his tune wasn't finalised and gave him the option to take the time to finish it then.

As for the other tune that was reposted, a final tune was posted and then he submitted a tune which he felt was faster (and I have no reason not to believe him on that fact). This i did not allow as has been highlighted by a previous statement I made a few days ago.

These two examples are different in every way and I continue to stand by my decision that @fordracer is allowed to make changes to his tune should he decide to take that option. On this note, I want to apologise to Fordracer as he has been at the centre of this but has kept quiet and responding by PM to me. I appreciate that he has gone through these channels and request that anyone else who has issues with this does the same.

Let this be the end of the public messages about my decision and as host, I should have final decision on individual circumstances that warrant a decision on whether or not to allow changes to tunes. Please respect my decisions as I respect everyone else's individual requests, whatever they may be.

I caused the ruckus...I have with drawn from the compition. As is only right. I have not liked some rules interpitations in the past, and took it up with the host in private, voiced my objections and let it go. I will toe the rules line! There is the bar gentlemen. In the furture.... feel
free to step up!

Sorry to lose you from this competition. I will put you down as withdrawn from this event now.

Not necessary but an honourable statement none the less, you are not the problem in any way, just caught in the middle. Some things gave the appearance of injustice when no foul had been committed, intentionally or otherwise 👍

I have no objections to your car being run and I suspect no one else here would have any either so if you want to put the car back in then you are most welcome. Its an honourable position to take and if you want to set the bar then good on you, which ever way you choose to go you have lost no respect in my eyes.

The matter of rules regarding posting and final tune should be discussed further in the main FITT thread rather than continue to clutter this thread. It is a matter that concerns all of us so feel free to speak your mind and share your ideas

:gtpflag:

@DolHaus - I know you have withdrawn from tuning but what about testing? I have you down as a tentative tester at present.
Should be able to fit it in 👍

I broke my face, do not know the right day but posted this car in my garagen in updating (V.1.14) made in nurburgring. does not work in this circuit, but I promise Place until tomorrow.:odd:

@fbccars924 - Is your tune which you submitted some time ago the finished tune now? The deadline is midnight (wherever you are) tonight so I will use whatever is in your link when I check them tomorrow morning and officially open testing.

@xande1959 - If you could post your tune that you created for this event ASAP, I think I now fully understand what you said before. I look forward to seeing your final tune and giving it a test. :)

@shaunm80 so you brushed up on your Portugese huh?;) My 9th grade Spanish class actually was good for something. Only thing I can remember are verbs and the endings to put on them.

Testing news... I should be posting my results by tomorrow night pending how many wait until the 11th hour to turn in their tune or deadline extensions. To anyone on the fence about testing, I would suggest doing it. This is going to come down to the wire and with the type of track it's on, we will need all types of driving skills to level the playing field.

I read between the lines and worked out what it was he was saying. My Portugese is non-existent and I possess basic spanish language skills from a brief travelling experience through South America..

I have 1 left to test of those who have already submitted and any that are submitted between now and tomorrow morning when I get home from a night shift. Also, I echo your comments about testing. There are a lot of reasons to test for this event and none more than the variety of tuning styles that have been used so far. I have no doubt that it will be a close contest in terms of both lap time and DC so if you have been thinking about testing, jump in and bring a few mates with you!

@shaunm80 something must have come up for @fbccars924 he hasn't been online here or PSN in ten days and thats not like him.
I'll start testing Monday.
Testers don't forget to use the template on page one. It will make my life much easier when inputting times and DC scores as its in the same order as the sheet.

@xande1959
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you've tuned the wrong car.
The car for this competition is the 2009 FT-86 NOT the 2010 G Sports.

As another member has pointed out, this is the wrong car. If you can get the right car posted by this time tomorrow, i will include it officially in my test but if you think you will struggle to meet this deadline, please let me know. :)

He has a placeholder tune which we will use. It is a tune and he did submit it so we will roll with that one. :)

I have one further tune to post for another member. It was pm'd this morning to me. Will copy and paste it in a few hours. I think once that is done, our tune selection will be completed. :)

Here is the tune from @nijalninja for this event.
