Let me now turn the rumor mill into a full blown factory.
The "Sunday Cup" hint is more literal than Herman and Ryan are letting on. Basically, on Sunday at 00:00 GMT, Herman and/or Ryan will post their shootout thread outlining the rules of the contest. Tuners then have all Sunday to tune their cars based on the specs given by Herman and/or Ryan. Anyone who doesn't post their tune before Monday GMT will be forced to sell GT5 and purchase NFS The Runs.
After that, testers will do their thing and announce the winner of the contest based on whatever Herman and/or Ryan decide the winner should be based on. The winner will then be known as the Jarl of The Tuning Forum.

Just to ask, all of those upcoming shootout, does the people who will run it have an idea of how much time it will last? I think if we know that, we can have a clear idea of which shootout should go next after Ryan's shootout.. I think mine would last 4 to 5 weeks.

Though Rally Cars look like they may be fun and I really don't use them enough as it is, I have started to play more with the LeMans Prototype cars. Thinking that would be a fun tuning competition, 700PP, Racing Hard Tires, LeMans dry and wet setups.

Thinking about setting up a quick event using the current TTs on Nurb unti; the next shootout. Week to tune, week to test...any objections?
Everyone would tune the same car and it would be used by testers in the Nurb TT, fastest gets....something. Any complaints about using a DLC touring car for such an event? I'll have to figure out a different non-GT500 car if the DLC car doesn't work for people. Got it ready to roll tonight if everyone is OK.

DLC cars can't be shared so won't work for a shootout unless the testers all build their own.

Good point, though the question just changes then to "do the testers want to build every car?" I was looking at the EvoX TC; anyone have a suggestion for a different car to use? As Nascar is looking to do a GT500 shootout here in May I am trying to stay away from any of those while also sticking to a premium so it isn't a hassle to find the car. Suggestions very welcome!
