Rough idea for a longer running side event.
Every x amount of time we're getting new seasonal races, so it would consist of all currently open seasonal a-spec races, and upcoming ones until "specified date".
I'm thinking weekly, starting with the oldest, tuners always one week ahead of testers, maybe 10 weeks.

For each a-spec seasonal, a tuner provides a different* tune/car on share, any testers other than myself that could stay committed would quietly test and time 2 races in each tuners car, best total race time recorded counted.

Depending on interest, there might need to be a limit on tuners entering, or 2 totally separate divisions, one for 400PP and one for 500PP, which would have zero relation to each other.
No drivers choice, no fastest lap, just fastest race time.
Race might have to be regulated to "first opponent list". IIRC the opponents you face when you first turn the game on are always the same?

*Definition of "different car": Must be a different model.

Tuners can pull in and out of weeks as they like I'm guessing?

If that's the case I'm all for it 👍
It's possible something could be worked out like taking a tuners best x amount of weeks at the finish, but I'd like them to tally for the most part. Certainly not a problem to give some room for off-weeks.

Do I need to get my Rally vs. Street versions challenge ready? Who's next in line for the next FITT competition?
I believe I'm up next with my second annual FF Shootout.

After that I'm not sure who's next in line, so if you want to call it let me know.:odd:👍👍

I'd just like to see a way it's not dominated by the usual obvious suspects, other than that, I'm game for anything. Just please, no more Teggyfests.:D

I can guarantee that this years FF Shootout won't have a single Integra in it.:lol:
It will definitely be at a lower PP than last year and should see quite a variety of cars as everyone scrambles to find the winning combinations for the two classes I'll be running. Also it will feature a couple of different tracks that should stretch everyone's tuning abilities to their very limits while remaining fairly quick and fun for the drivers. Finally I'll most likely be running a secret bonus event if I can arrange it that will give an opportunity for someone to get a bit of a bonus prize.:D

Depending on number of entries for each class I may divide the entries into smaller test groups like I did for the Tons of Fun event. Still not decided if I want to work this on a multi category point system like ToF was or just do separate prizes for the Hot Lap winners and the Drivers Choice awards.

Sounds fun, but yet another shootout I can't enter the BEAT :dopey:

I believe I'm up next with my second annual FF Shootout.

As the seventh fastest test driver for the first FF Shootout event, I might have to keep an eye open for this one. To defend my honor and all that other stuff. ;)

Not a FF. :P Copying Onboy like a boss again.

OH FFS. Are we going to get to a point with this where I'd eventually post a tune and you'd post a copy and paste one of it and just leave that "Copying Onboy like a boss X10000" in white?

Maybe... :sly:

I have my FITT Challenge - Rally Cars and Street Versions almost ready. I made a list of Rally Cars and the matching street version. I want to equalize the cars as much as possible so that people can choose between a 70's/80's rally car and the newer ones. It's kind of a balance between detuning the four high PP cars and max tuning for the two oldest cars. Leaning toward 500PP.

Your rally event sounds very interesting. Can't wait to hear more about it. 👍
