Sadly, you'll have to hold off testing my car until tomorrow. I'm in bed right now, and refuse to get up to add you since I have exams tomorrow and need my sleep. :P Anyway, you won't have missed much.

Yeah, all fine, just one I don't have yet, will need it for the next batch.

Upon checking, I still need one from krenkme, too.

Cheers Cy, no rush. Wanted to finish the 500pp group before changing to Monza. Got a feeling that'll ruin any experience i've got from Spa the last few days. Will hopefully get yours done tomorrow then, depending on how work goes tonight.

No sign of an add from you, Biffa, so I've sent you one to "biffa3". I'm not sure that your time at Spa is going to help with my car, the Opera doesn't really drive like the proper race cars .... because it ain't one..!! :sly:

Best of luck and don't give me any grief when the damned thing snaps yer neck off... :mischievous:

{Cy}

To all testers who are going to drive my 625PP car, the Lexus ISF RM, just a reminder it has 8 speed gearbox, which almost all are used on Monza, be ready for some quick shift actions :D Don't get caught off guard and over rev or miss-shift, haha.

@Ealirendur thanks for the test drive and time is looking good for it.👍👍

Afraid the basic brick shape of the car plays a limiting factor*in regards to top speed. Despite having more HP under the bonnet, I noticed the GTs and Zondas outrunning me in the straights if I didn't catch a draft.

Review:
The car felt good and had excellent rotation. Its grip under full throttle while accepting extreme steering inputs is simply amazing. But its just not that fast.
Only five gears but well spaced. This car would rock on a track that either consisted of low and mid speed corners or a track with only mid and high speed corners. The mixture of low through high is killing the power range of this car.

Thanks for the test. 👍👍 I knew the car was not very fast, so I went for performance in hopes it could be competitive... oh well :dopey:. It's not like I've never finished last before (see past shootouts) Thanks again

All FR should be sent. Sorry about that everyone :nervous:

@ACSR thanks for the test and outstanding lap time.👍👍

As for second gear I set that to try and limit the wheelspin as much as possible exiting the first chicane.

Updated. Congrats X. You are currently leading both classes.
Hope this early lead works out better here than in my online races with you guys. Don't recall how many races at Spa where I was in the lead early only to watch AC or Johnny go scooting by me on the final lap.

I'm more surprised you lead at all.

Anyway, Ealirendur, FR sent. 👍 And how can this be?! I'm losing the fight for the "scary car" cookie!! Noooooo!!!

"Ren" for short, by the way.

Actually didn't think you could make the Camaro LM or the IS-F particularly scary, but also haven't touched 'em yet.

Incidentally, I may have missed it in early discussion, by what's the policy on own-tune testing for this one?

Thank god for that. I actually had to open another tab to keep a check on spelling that username of yours.

Eh, to be honest, you can't. Well no, it's possible, but there's no upside to it like with the GTs since they're scary but also scary quick, a Camaro LM with 500hp and 50/40 downforce and 100 odd kilos shoved up its arse, running a botched gearbox is just scary.

Eh, you just post your best time, I think.

You do test your own tune. Treat it the same way that you did the others. If you drove the other tunes for five laps, do the same with yours. For driver's choice, just be honest. If the tune is perfect for you, then score it outstanding. Now that you have driven other cars, if you feel it hangs with the best tunes, then score outstanding. If it is a step behind, it should be rated lower.

We have a good number of testers, so scoring on average lap times will minimize tuner driving their own tune. There are at least five others that will affect your final score.

Glad Ronald enjoyed my car, even if it isn't the fastest thing there. I am disappointed that the Acura NSX doesn't get a 6th gear, but I love the authenticity of a straight-cut 5 speed. 5th place so far, not bad. Proud of my little NSX 👍

Edit: I understand that my NSX isn't completely broken in, as I have been meaning to put the extra mileage on it but I've just been sick lately and have been trying to sleep it off. I'll put the extra mileage on it tomorrow so the are no discrepancies.

Unsurprising really. The Integra is as scary as a fluffy bunny eating lettuce. :dopey:

Well, to be honest, if it had been early Spec II and I did this tune, there'd be so much complaints about being killed at Eau Rouge and the back being too soft.

I've always said that soft rear springs and racing tyres don't mix and that's pretty much why.

@Jackthalad - Wait, can't you just buy one from the new car dealer and have Bob break it in?

My bobs aren't on a high enough level to do the endurance races and I don't have much game time at the moment either so not really no. I have the replacement car on share and have added the testers too. It's no big deal to me if it's not allowed honestly, thank you for your time. :)

What if I bought the car and broke it in for you?

You don't have to do that mate, seriously. Thank you for the offer though 👍 I would actually prefer the Clio to be entered. I only chose the Integra because I thought it was the only car in the list that I already had a setup for. All cars in the list had the Manufacturer name before the model, except for the Clio. I honestly didn't see it otherwise I would've chose that. I'm only entering a car that I already have tuned to get some feedback. I don't have time to tune any cars these days.

Let's do this. Three votes right now from other tuners entered in the competiton.

Three yes votes for the late entry and you're in.

Three no votes and you'll have to wait for the next competiton or have someone build your original car/tune.

Whichever comes first.

Not trying to be the grinch here but he posted a tune for a car on time. System failure caused the loss of the entered car. I'm more than happy to buy and break in the original entry car for him and even share it if needed. But, I don't think it's quite fair to others that Jack change to a completely different car now. I sympathise with him on the real life time constraints and having system failures which is why I'm more than willing to help him recreate his original entry.
