Don't we have to keep at least two tires inside the white lines?
You're all linked up sir quick glance it looks good. I'll check it in game later prolly Monday.I guess it's time to post this one too: RUF CTR2 '96 It earned me consistent 2:07's at Suzuka, which is not great as I really despise the "S" curves there! Hopefully the testers can find the time I can't!

FITT RUF Challenge

Welcome to the RUF FITT Challenge. This is a multi-car, multi-class event held on a variety of tracks. There is something here for everyone so pick you favourite RUF cars and hit the track with them.
All cars have nice sticky tyres to make the job of tuning easier but don’t be fooled, these cars will take a lot of taming and it is very easy to under, and over tune these iconic German sports cars.
This event is being co-hosted by @Otaliema and we will be splitting the classes in half. I will control two of them and Otaliema will control the other two. Due to the number of classes in this event, the timings for tune submissions and testing will be staggered to allow everyone enough time to tune and test without too much stress.
If you have any questions, post them in this thread and either @shaunm80 or @Otaliema will get back to you ASAP. If you have any issues PM both @shaunm80 and @Otaliema and we will provide you with whatever assistance you need.
@shaunm80 will be looking after the Sports Class and Old School RUF class
@Otaliema will be looking after the RUF Super Sport Class and Open Track Day class

Tuner/Tester Participation
Tuners may selected up to 2 classes to tune and due to the number of groups being used for this event, We (as hosts) would encourage you to join in with testing for the classes you are not tuning for. Testing is not mandatory and we will not be forcing anyone to join in with this element, but it would help us out greatly as we want to have a good spread of results for all classes.
If we are short in any classes, we may open up a third class that tuners can enter to give each class a good number of cars for testers to use. If we do open up a third class for tuning, I would strongly encourage those people to test at least one class of cars to create a large spread of results for all tuners.
Sign up for tuning/testing by clearly stating what classes you want to take part in.
Tuning/Testing Deadlines
Tuning schedule will be as follows.
Sports Class - 8/1/16 – 22/1/16
Old School RUF Class – 8/1/16 – 26/1/16
RUF Super Sport Class – 8/1/16 – 29/1/16
Open Track Day Class – 8/1/16 – 2/2/16
Tuners have 2 weeks from start date to submit their tune to the thread. Due to the nature of the event and the testing schedule, should anyone require an extension, contact us both by PM and we will see what we can organise.
Once you submit your tune, We will consider it your final tune and no changes will be allowed, unless there is a problem detected with your tune when checked.
Testing schedule and deadline will be as follows.
Sports Class – 23/1/16 - 6/2/16
Old School RUF Class – 27/1/16 - 10/2/16
RUF Super Sport Class – 30/1/16 - 15/2/16
Open Track Day Class – 3/2/16 - 20/2/16
Obviously, if the event requires extra time for testing, or a rejig of the testing schedule, this will be changed during the event itself and all participants will be made aware of any changes.
Scoring
We only have one request when it comes to driver scoring, rate the DC based on your thoughts, feelings and how the car made you feel when driving it. Be honest, noone will feel hurt. Also, please provide constructive feedback on the tune you have tested, whether this is positive or negative feedback for a particular tune.
Driver's choice - Each tester will score each tune on the scale listed below. Driver's choice scores will then be averaged across all testers. The maximum number of DC points that can be earned is ten points. Please choose driver's choice on a scale of 0.0 to 10.0.
Driver's choice scale:
10.0 among the best tunes you have driven in GT6
7 to 9 a great tune that could be a little faster if...
4 to 6 a good tune that needs a few adjustments to become a contender
Under 4 a tune that needs work (please be specific with feedback with any tunes listed here)
Average Lap Time will be calculated as per the normal system. The best lap time achieved will be added to the scoring sheet, added together with the rest of the lap times and divided by the total number of testers. That will be the average time scoring for this event.

Ok I think it's safe to post this now: RUF CTR "Yellow Bird" '87 It earned me a 1:30.948 at Trial Mountain reverse.
It has been a quiet day in RUF land. How is everyone getting on with their tunes?
