The reason i was woundering was becuase the two vehicles with manual trannys is a old tractor and an atv where both was standing still when clutch was down
It depends how flat the surface is. Clutch in on a hill and you will roll down it.
Its a pain staging for a drag race with a high tail wind if you stage deep. Waiting on the other guy to stage with your clutch in and rpms up you can slowly roll out of position, even trigger a red light. Personally I shallow stage to avoid red light due to my launch style of dumping the clutch on the last yellow light
