Nope, after waiting for about 20 minutes I decided to buy some stuff online annd totally missed my chance.

I wonder how the points will look now? Seems like a tough night for all concerned which is a shame. I watched a portion of the race on Wardez's live stream which was pretty neat.

Hopefully the GT class runs smoother. Best of luck!

Dudes, the lag! The lag... We really need to have a roundtable discussion on how to more effectively organize the races that start like this. Me and Turbo were only getting like 20 frames for the first few laps.

What's missing is consistent communication. We can't rely on the forums or PSN to see where everyone's at with time, connections, problems etc..

We need a universal spot that's mandatory for everyone to e in for us to communicate information quickly and easily. And I think that should be an IRC chat room (GTP's is a bit hit and miss)

I like the IRC, idea. It's free and doesn't suck up bandwidth.

Probably not, but if someone downloads it (I have it shared right now) they can use it for whatever they want. I also have a replica of that track in a wider configuration for the higher speed cars.

Also, might want to watch the double and triple posting, they don't like that kind of thing around here.

I drove around a bit with the 908 and I thought there were too many blind off-camber corners at those type of speeds.

I liked it because I was on the pole for the qualifying race and I won.

No, seriously, I prefer having consistency. One league that has two classes with two different methods to qualify seems off to me.

Thanks guys, think we'll go back to just having a short qualifying session before the race. Never a full room, so with the GT class we can pull it off.

My spec race experience was horrible. It was a shame egg couldn't get in which added to the depleted roster BC of Welsh and brosif not in attendance. Started 2nd and the first 9 laps I was getting passed as if I was standing still. Even my engine tone was off as my car wasn't climbing through the R's like it usually does.

Then something magical happened and I was running off lap times 3.5-4 seconds quicker which were right on my qualifying/practice sessions times. Still had a blast but the lag issues effected me more last night then any other race this season. Damn psn!

I was very curious why I was behind you for x amount of laps SLC. I know it wasn't because I was running faster because I was 3 secs lower than my practice laps before the race.

I had frame rate issues for the first 10 laps. Then when that resolved I had connection issues. I don't know how the two would manifest each other but I don't think they were too related.

Sounds like you and I were in the same boat. When Coconut lagged out, my framerate cleared up and I was able to race the way I wanted.

A good video would be of Me, outlaw, and Egg battling for 3rd place in the GT race last night. Check the last 8 laps I think, I cant remember when it started, Probably around Lap 23. We did a lot of switching around and the last lap got really close and aggressive, good racing overall!

Anyone know of a free video editing software that can edit MP4 videos? Windows Movie Maker won't recognize the file.

I was behind you right about the time you picked up those few seconds per lap. Glued to your bumper one lap and barely able to see you the next.

Yeah it does but, u coped with it much better BC your a bonafide force out there lol.

@ Curlyde - I recall that moment where u stated u were on my bumper and then the nitrous effect came in. Haha I think the only benefactors of the lag issues is I didn't wear tires as quick so I was able to run 131-132's from laps 10-16. Excited for Laguna this week.

Yeah I need a little break too. I need to find some time to finish some of my many projects.

For season 3 you should think about allowing people to drop one weekend so that real life doesn't get in the way of a good championship fight.

If I recall, I took the inside line on the final hairpin on the final lap and we were bumping and grinding to the line. Good times! Forget when we and Egg started battling since I forgot to save the replay for the GT race.

This is what I wrote down for the Spec Class

Lap 01 @ 00.30 - dion93stanglx50 loses it and spins in front of the rear pack.
Lap 02 @ 02:20 - outlaw4rc makes it three wide under the bridge and gets two positions.
Lap 03 @ 03:35 - TnJF clips some grass and saves it.
Lap 05 @ 07:45 - 3 car battle between REDLINED_22, Wardez, and outlaw4rc.
Lap 17 @ 26:00 - R1600Turbo passes SAMHAIN85 for 2nd.
Lap 18 @ 27:30 - outlaw4rc passes SAMHAIN85 for 3rd.
Lap 20 @ 32:30 - dion93stanglx50 spins in front of the then-leader TnJF.
Lap 20 @ 32:40 - TnJF slides while leading and throws up a ton of smoke. The lead pack catches up as a result.
Lap 24 @ 36:30 - outlaw4rc attempts pass on TnJF. GTP_SOHNVONSTIG joins battle from behind. outlaw4rc and GTP_SOHNVONSTIG make contact and both crash.

Oh, and I know you and redlined teamed up and drafted past TnJF for the lead at start-finish. I think that was on the start of Lap 21 or 22.

Don't feel too bad since that is my most common mistake by far. In fact, that almost happened to me on Lap 24.
