I was watching the Austin F1 track announcement.

I heard of a group who are trying to organize a 100 car Spec Miata race as a feeder to the F1 race in Austin Texas. I have been on track with 45 other Miatas at one time and watch 8 of those get destroyed. I don't think I would want to be on track with 100 crazy fools in chick cars.

As long as none of the drivers are chicks, everyone should be fine.

Hey spud, why are there points for the preseason race?

Why not? We're already an unofficial offshoot and I figured I'd reward people that aren't A-room material but stick with it anyway.

If i am looking at this right does that say that graham got as many points as me in the GVER race? He finished behind me...shouldnt that mean he gets less then me?

Edit: Okay i see what you are doing? But i dont think you should award points on how close you are to someone. And i dont want to quote "Fast and the Furious" but "It doesnt matter if you win by and inch or a mile, winning is winning" I should have had more points then Graham. (For the race anyway)

You did get more points than Graham: 22.5 vs 18.4. You got 10.0 for your overall race time, he got 9.995. You had 6.5 for qualifying, he had 8.4. You got 4 bonus points for gaining 8 positions and another 2 bonus points for winning -- he didn't get any since he didn't win and he failed to finish better than he started.

Can't join existing room. Incompatible network or some such nonsense. Due to required fixed host setting Stig can't just leave for a more compatible host, so I am forced to start a new practice room.

Best in the GT is a 2:12.4, best in the spec car is a 2:31.2. Hope that's what you meant Wardez.

Lol I haven't run the grinder yet this week, but I will be next week I'll be traveling the next couple days so hopefully I can run the grinder for everyone We'll see if my mom's electric bill can handle it

posted a 2:31.738 tonight. pretty happy with that one, though it was on lap 4 of free run, so tires were a bit hotter than I will be able to qualify with.

Anyway, my room is closed now.
