that is a right fun track to play around on Mark17, some awesome crashes on pro level in arcade mode. And you can pretty much floor it the whole way round...

Unless you're flying of course :P

Mark, I was able to make your track exactly as you have shown in the picture (exact same shape on the exact same terain) but there is no jump on mine?? :(

I'm afraid that even the elevation contours are generated completely randomly in this game.

You'll have to keep refreshing until you find a track with a section with contours that at first are quite spaced out, then appear closer together, and then becomes spaced out again. A little bit like my fantastically perfect diagram below:

| . |. | ||| | .| . | 👍

However, contours like this could equally mean a large dip in the road, so if you try it out and you get the opposite of what you'd hoped for, just go back and try again.

Hope that helps.

That's the thing though.. My course looks exactly like this.
The track shape is the same, in the same spot and the topography (all the lines under the track) are exactly the same.. Yet no jump.

I see...

Well, looking again at that picture, it would seem that each contour represents quite a sizable elevation change (around 15 or 20 meters of elevation between two contours I would guess).

Now, really all you need to get a decent jump is a small, but sharp bump that could be even less than 5 meters high. So, thinking about it, a decent jump could be easily disguised between two contours, and similarly, just because the contour shape looks similar it doesn't necessarily mean that the elevation change between the contours will be the same.

My advice would be to just keep trying out tracks until you find one with a decent jump. Also, there is another theme called 'Der Alto' or something similar, I found that this theme often produced much more sudden elevation changes, and therefore I assume would be a better option for creating a track with a decent jump. However that's just from my very limited experience with the Course Maker. :)

Thanks for this Thread made me laugh lots 👍

Tried Every Combination to get the Exact same Track , no Joy .

Maybe the EU Edition is Slighly Different

I managed to make the Exact Same Track as you Posted Topography was Exactly the Same but no Jump :grumpy:

Won't give up on it though 👍

It'd be great If you could share the Track on the PSN if Possible

My PSN ID is over there if you can

<----- :D

I managed to get the same course, but rotated 180 and mirrored.
I have the jump but it seems more awkward. and i got the US version.

Probably one of the best coursemaker maps out there.

Evilvision - could I add you on PSN and obtain the map from you? The more people that have this map the more it could be shared - and the more hilarity it would ensue.

I have a small request Mark (or anyone else with that track). If at all possible, get the Red Bull X1 to do that.

Hooray, let's go destroy a billion-dollar prototype racing machine JUST FOR THE LULZ! And then take pictures of the trainwreck it'll be after coasting off a hill at 420!

Nice, I just sent PSN friend request for the track. Would like to join the fun. :)
