I honestly thought I was looking at FM3 until I saw the logo...

Granted it would take a bit of tuning to get FM3 to look like that.

There are some really good comparisons between these new ALMS pictures
and Forza 3 here:

This one says it all..

Well, GT5 does, actually. It does have the Super GT license, for example - it just doesn't make good use of it, which is a shame.

I'd rather have Porsche and Ferrari race cars then a bunch of ugly SC430s...

Is that last one real? Or is it FM4? I honestly can't tell, but I think it's real.

If you're talking about the two BMW pics with the large one then yeah the large one is real and the smaller one is FM4
It looks like they fixed the camera.....thats about it.
If you're talking about my videos they are all FM3 vids

Now that leaves GT to pick up Rolex Grand Am series!!!
Or you can race in my Rolex/Continenntal Tire Series I've been running in FM3 for the past month ;)

Yup. Porsche spins at about 10 seconds in that video. So it is in some form.
If you're talking about my vids then again this is FM3.

You can tell on some parts but the inside looks the same.

Dude the inside is giving off more detail and texture than before , that's very clear from the little bit we can see. But looking at the real pic from what I can see it doesn't look like there's a lot of woodgrain, leather and suppleness going on in there either. How about we wait till we get some cockpit views of it before we start with the "I don't see much difference" rhetoric.

I probably won't need online if the AI is going to have a difficulty other than 'useless' too, seriously going to love this game even if it's only as good as FM3 was (which it no doubt will not be, it'll be better).

Don't get your hopes up because all I am reading here is confirmation that FM4 will have the same ALMS integration as FM3, only now they get to put an ALMS logo on the outside of the box.

They claim 26 cars, yet their gallery shows cars not racing in the series anymore. They haven't said every track, and only listed 4.

Until I see otherwise I am not expecting anything other than cars and tracks included in the game with perhaps some career mode races based on real life races.

I think this is the link you're referring to ....
http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/forza_garage_alms/
Both these links are showing images of older cars. Andretti Green is not in the series this year and those Acuras are LMP2, which only participated in a handful of races early in the season, and neither of the Acuras pictured were in those races. I need to check FM3, but I think the Aston Martin Muscle Milk car is the only new car we have seen.

I hate to be all negative on this because I want an ALMS game, but I feel like this will be just like FM3 where the new cars from the current season will be DLC. I have not seen evidence to the contrary.

You gotta keep in mind this is NOT an ALMS game. To be honest I almost wish they would have kept the whole ALMS/Forza 4 tie-in a little more hush-hush. People are going to get the same impression/letdown they got with the NASCAR/RALLY thing that GT5 did. I think they did kinda shoot themselves in the foot with this big announcement. Not gonna bother me too much because any little bit will help. We've been doing our own ALMS series for a while with FM3 so everything coming is just gravy for us. Double the cars alone will be great.

Not really....They merely said they had officially sponsored with ALMS. We all know exactly what kind of game FM4 is going to be.

They are kind of talking about it the same as PD did the NASCAR, WRC, and Super GT licenses. I expect the same disappointments from people who buy this. It's why I am playing it down. They have yet to actually describe anything we didn't already have in FM3.
