 What a pointless vehicle.

I love pointless vehicles even you blow some GTI's off :D And the usability is very good because of this monster load floar ehm, I mean monster spoiler :D

But I prefer the new Porsche 911 Turbo. It's not as pointless as the Dodge

Nahh... I'd go for the Lingenfelter GMC Sonoma. 800++ hp, 3-speed auto, and a tail-standing 3 second (FLAT) 0-60mph time.

Did they tub the bed to fit 2 1/2 foot wide drag slicks to get that kind of traction?

Also, that Hennessey Ram has 1200ft/lbs of torque... :nervous:

I think a few years ago autoweek ran a story detailing hennesey's customer service. I vaguely remember them mentioning that he would take crucial parts from some customers cars and put them onto slightly more pressing builds and that some customers cars were in a constant state of limbo, never fully finished.

Found the article : http://www.autoweek.com/article.cms?articleId=4073

Nope... no tubbing, real sleeper-ish except for the nice wide tires. It hit 2.83 seconds in C&D's tuner superchallenge (one of the last ones held while Lingenfelter was still alive), unfortunately, all of that damn power fried the tranny before they could get it to do the road course.

His best in this truck is a 10.48 (recorded for another mag), and in competition, around 7.6-7.8, but I don't know how much different the competition version is.

I don't like sport trucks, because it's pointless IMO. They are kinda neat to look at though, I suppose. :)

I hate the Ram, even if it does have insane power in it. About 90% of the Ram owners I met think their truck is the best in the world and can do everything better then Ford or GM, but for some strange reason bothFord and GM beat Dodge in the sales.

Anyways I'd take that S-15, but I think I would drop the kit into the Blazer instead.

Y'know, I've gotten the exact same impression. My dad had an old 1994 Ford F250 XLT putting out 400hp after he spent a week installing upgrades a while ago (which he just totalled 2 weeks ago, 1 week after he dyno'd it) and saw some guy in a Hemi-powered Ram on the highway. Needless to say they lined up and they both took off, but the guy in the Ram was acting like he was such hot ****, thinking Hemi instantly = untouchableness. Hemi only means hemispherical combustion chambers (I think), not jet engine in your bed. Anyway, they were pretty much equal and about 15-20 seconds after flooring it, my dad was about a car-length and a half ahead. Put him in his place, and got to watch the ricer fly-by.

Ditto. But you can't help but admire the sheer chutzpah these guys have in making such impractically powerful beasts.

My uncle drives a Ram. He could probably beat your dad in a drag race anyday! Bring it on!

Of course, that's because he just traded it in for a Viper... :dopey:
