Force-feedback not informative enough?

Increasing the in-game wheel sensitivity value from 5 to 8 made the handling feel a lot less "floaty", more direct, like in a real car, in my opinion on my T150.

The weight of the wheel while cornering below the limit feels good. But once you're at or above the limit, the game isn't as precise as PCars2, F1 2017, Dirt Rally, or iRacing, in terms of what the simulation is actually doing and what the feedback through the wheel is telling you about the situation. It's not so bad that the game isn't enjoyable to play with a wheel, but if you've driven PCars2, you'll feel a bit disappointed by GTS's force-feedback. GTS's online racing implementation blows away the competition, though, and that makes up for this issue.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but where do you adjust the in-game wheel sensitivity? I'm using a Bodnar DD wheel but the game thinks I'm using a G29, and I don't see this option anywhere in the menus.

FFB in GT6's initial release was the best IMO. Here in GTS it's a mixed bag. You can barely feel the tires when cornering (I do feel the suspension working at times which is quite good). Brakes lock up way too fast, but when they do, you can definitely feel the tires locking up. Throttle-induced wheelspin during corners is pretty good as well; play around with the LSD Accel setting and you'll see what I mean.

If anyone with a T300 RS managed to get the FFD to give them any information at all about wheel spin or oversteer, please share your settings.

It sucks to not be able to drive properly without TCS because the steering wheel is simply numb. Feels like I'm driving on air, except for when I go over curbs/grass/off track.

Using a G29 here.

Gr4 cars seem ok,
Gr3 are rubbish
Catching slides, etc are no issue, but it just feels dead and dull compared with GT6.
I've been through all combinations of weight and sensitivity, but nothing makes much difference.

Personally, I much prefer the FF feeling with CSA enabled (no TC), and have no issues going fast with the available FF.

Where I think the game falls short is throttle and brakes... both have far too much effect across the 1st half of the pedal travel.
