Retro is becoming a thing of the past
That's retro for you.
I can see the Bronco doing quite well in the UK, albeit in a different market from the Ranger (which is very popular as a business vehicle).

Rofl why you suddenly replied on a 7-month old post of mine. That's retro for you.

I just assumed that Ford would do something similar to what Jeep does now with the current Wrangler regarding the removable roof.Curious how the removable top will pass safety since the last bronco they basically made it so you couldnt take it off.
I'd like to highlight the fact that the Goodyear tires on this truck don't exist yet. These tires are also prototypes.
Most tires that come on new cars are different in some way. Even if you can buy the same tire at any random tire shop, car manufactures will very often work with tire manufactures to change them in some way or another to reduce noise and/or improve handling.I'd like to highlight the fact that the Goodyear tires on this truck don't exist yet. It's not just that. The sidewalls say Goodyear plain as day, but Goodyear doesn't currently make any tire with that tread pattern. I know OEMs create bespoke versions of tires but this tire is completely new. Most tires that come on new cars are different in some way. Looks like a Jeep Renegade.
Exactly that(stares at the removable top pics hoping the blue one gets burned from memory).Nah, it really looks like a Land Rover Freelander. Which is not a good thing.
Interesting. I haven't heard anything about that with all the Bronco hype.https://amp.news.com.au/technology/...e/news-story/af3cd98ed04d5b11a8016a3fa0b32a34
Make it a touch smaller to bring back the Isuzu P'up, Datsun 720, etc.
"Spy photos"
Yeah....that looks like a proving ground. I bet Ford "leaked" those.
If it's the Dearborn proving grounds, you can actually see a fair bit of them from the Henry Ford Museum. If it's the Romeo Proving Grounds, then it's a little harder, but there are places you can sit and see a decent amount, especially in the spring before the vegetation gets too thick. I used to go spy photo hunting with a buddy of mine who big with Car & Driver, we'd stake out an area off Dequindre Rd. to watch.
