Stroll doesn't seem to be doing well on the new Inters. Well outside of the 20-second pit gap, losing positions now

Ok, I'm not understanding what is going on here. How is Lewis building a lead over everyone with his tires so old?

Easy to be a hindsight genius, but Racing Point look like they missed a trick by not pitting for new intermediates earlier.
The issue is Mercedes seems to just not have issues with tyre wear. Took 15 laps to get them up to temp, but that seems to have translated into them lasting 15 laps longer. Lewis has been on his inters since lap 7. Oldest tyres on the grid I think, yet having none of the issues everyone else is. It’s like god is just snapping his fingers and adding extra life to Lewis’ tyres.

Soon to be 7-time World Champion is able to make everyone else look like amateurs. Whoda thunk it.

Unless it starts pouring buckets in the final 13 laps, Hamilton should win this race.

Discounting Lewis’ lead as luck while his rivals spin around is just robbing him.

He’s showing all of us why he deserves to be champion.
You can’t say he hasn’t had some mad luck for much of his career. Especially over the last 5 years, with things like safety cars and VSC almost constantly playing into his hands. It’s absurd just how often a VSC is called just as he gets into his pit window.

RP's call to pit Lance was just too late. Seeing him drop in the grid is painful :(

I used to be one to say Rosberg lucked into his championship, but I’ve come to understand that every driver puts in immense work into their fight for the title.

Lewis' tires have no thread left.....I'm seriously not understanding how he is keeping the car going and building nearly 20 sec to P2 while Bottas on tires that were as old can't even keep the car on the track

He's that good.

Another championship well deserved.
