Looks crap as a TV track but there's been some actual racing. Actual. Racing. Remember that?

EDIT: Tree'd by Samus, partly :)

Tyre-caressing Perez might be on for a win. Later stop and he could run to the end on one stop...

Edit: I wonder how much of Hamilton's radio messages about tyres are actually code.

Edit edit: Wait, Verstappen trying the last 24 laps on mediums?

I wonder if this is the Mercedes plan? Talk RB into a 2-stop undercut. That might explain the overly-obvious radio calls.

Looks like Red Bull is indeed trying to pull a reverse-Barcelona. Perez could potentially be in a position to steal the win if he can make these tires last.

"Hey, Max, if you could adjust your microphone while driving at 300+ KPH, that'd be great..."

Reminds me of the cutscene in TOCA 2 where the camera girl asks you to wave at the camera while racing.

And it looks like Mercedes are having radio issues of their own.

The AWS Tyre Wear Cloud Brain suggests that Hamilton is basically running on the brake discs. As the Sky presenters toe the party line more and more it just seems a bit ludicrous.

Meanwhile Verstappen is reporting some kkhhh...k..kk.kkkhhhh...zzzt....kkkkrrrrt...

Max pulls off a tight overtake on Bottas! Hard to see how this doesn't end with Max taking the win one way or another.

Also, both Norris and Ricciardo has seemed to quietly take command of 5th & 6th.

Bottas certainly managed to defend the corner from the air there.

Bottas has to realise that when he tells Mercedes the tyres are gone they hear "tyres are great, Bono".

What is it, eight laps left, a five second gap and Verstappen only closing it by tenths?

It's going to be a close one.
