Who will win the Driver's Championship?

Toto wolff didn't want a race.
Everyone in the world wanted one.
Everyone seemed to want it, until we got it, then it was suddenly unfair and unacceptable.

F1 eh? Maybe we should just do the whole of next season under the safety car just to be on the safe side.

And this is what ruins it for me. Let everyone through or none. Where does this only let the drivers in between the top two even come from? What about those behind them?
Well by the time max passed the 5 cars infront, lewis would've been 2km down the road.
No one wanted that.

F1 MIGHT want to revisit the rules then before 2022 if they want to avoid this kind of half-assed attempt at finishing under green.

Ultimately the Williams in the barrier is what cost them, and that's just how luck can go sometimes, but the FIA really needs serious organizational changes. You can't mess around like that.

Mind you Merc can also look to BOT, VER wouldn't have had the free stops if he was up there.

The wrong person won that race, but the right person won the championship is my view (even if I strongly dislike Max' racecraft). Sometimes you just can't change fate.

F1 loses a lot of points in terms of sporting integrity for me tonight, but I guess they reap those views and sweet $$$ so yay for them I guess?

Never thought I'd see a 7x WDC denied their 8th twice in my lifetime. Pain.

And no one wanted it to finish under SC if they let all the lapped cars through. Lewis put in that lead despite Max getting new hards.

Bottas was.... somewhere. Mind you that somewhere was not anywhere near the lead but....

Was the championship ever decided on the final lap? (Sorry for my lack of knowledge.)
Yes. Hamilton when he beat Massa at Brazil.

Maybe Mercedes should have pitted Lewis for fresher tyres when they had the chance....but that move from FIA just stinks of Horse manure!

Way before Netflix. As if it needed confirming but F1 is the antithesis of sport. It's just a competition of money and politics to make those in charge feel relevant and powerful.
