Honestly, we spend too much time in the early parts of the race watching start replays from every single angle. Spread them out later or do it on YouTube after the race. Who knows how many passes we have missed in those two laps of replays.

With F1TV you get split screen with live footage during the replays. That should honestly be on the global stream as well

This is a snooze-fest so far...

So why haven't they called Gasly to give the place back for running Stroll off rhe track?
It's under investigation. They changed how they handle it this year. They no longer tell drivers to give it back, it's up to the driver and team to decide that they have to give it back. If they don't, they get a penalty.

Mid season change or has this been the new norm since the beginning of the season?

With that penalty, Gasly gets 2 more penalty points. He's now at 11 since May. If he scores only one more point before next May, he gets a race ban

New since the start of 2022.

It's part of the Americanisation of the sport: they've made penalties like the US tax system. They know whether you owe anything and how much you owe, but you have to decide for yourself - and you get fined if you get it wrong.

"The tyres are okay": Sir Lewis Hamilton, October 30, 2022; Mexico City

Quality commentary on F1TV:
Buxton: "Hamilton in a position he hasn't been in a long time"
Hinchcliffe: "It's been a week?!"

Hmm I don't think the hards will be fast enough, plus the Red Bull is incredible at tyre preservation. They could definitely go to the end on mediums without much trouble. Either that or go on softs at the end and breeze past Hamilton.

Unless Red Bull have to 2 stop I can't see the hards working.
You'd assume so - 25 on softs means 46 on mediums...

... although the tyres have been all over the place this season.

This is an interesting strategy battle, I have no idea why Ferrari left their drivers out for so long on the softs though.
