Damn, I just went on Twitter and spoiled the result for myself... oh well... at least I now know that the highlights package will be worth watching tonight!

I did hear some of the commentary during the red flag and they were semi-jokingly saying that the second half of the race would almost be a 'reverse-grid' race...

Has this race helped make a case for splitting F1 races into two shorter races??

I'm so happy for Gasly, the lad has been performing so strongly this season!

Would've loved to see Sainz taking the win after all his bad luck in the past few weeks, and at Ferrari he isn't going to get a chance at a race win soon... Still, 2nd and 4th a fantastic result for Mclaren!

Got to give it to Stroll as well, he has been just as fast, of not faster than Checo as of lately!

The second part of the race after the red flag was unbelievable. Hamilton's penalty made it even better

Let the record show that Gasly collected both his first podium and his first win before the guy that was supposed to replace him.

I like Albon, and I understand he had to contend with floor damage this race, but his previous performances haven't been great either, and as much as I hate how RBR re-shuffles their drivers, this has to put Albon into hot water.

That being said, I'm not sure if I want Gasly back with RBR, because his woes seemed to all be related to the car. The guy clearly has pace. I'm honestly surprised Renault (soon to be Alpine) didn't call him up when they were looking for a new driver.

In any case, with the final result we got, the rest of the race honestly doesn't matter. A most unbelievable Top-3, and a well-deserved and long-awaited first win for Gasly!

It was tense and great to see a Midfield team at the front, but taking people a d cars out of the equation there wasn't actually much racing in the second half. Not taking anything away from it, that was still one of the best races I've seen in a very long time. That's going down in history for all the right reasons.

Latifi now has more 11th places than Russell, so technically outranks him in all time statistics!
