OK, yeah... Lando was well out of position for the start. 😔

edit: 5 second penalty. 😔

Verstappen complaining about other drivers will always be funny and cathartic.

Lando false start penalty coming.

Might have been worth it with the field spread.
Isn't that usually a stop-and-go? If the stewards are awake and get that issued promptly this afternoon just turned into serious damage limitation for Norris (if it wasn't already).

No it’s out of position, not a jump start, so 5 secs. That’s the precedent from previous years.

Ferrari lap times are consistent after 15 laps.

Consistently slower than the chasers, and now committed to the same 2-stopper strategy. They should have a grip advantage at the end but lost track position,

Alpine struggled in Japan because they lacked top speed despite the chassis being excellent in the corners. This track has 4 long straights, so how are they suddenly in the fight for the podium in Bahrain?

And he'll have softs for the end
Yes, where do they go from here. They pitted lap 17 or 18. How long do they stay on this stint and how long do they want to be on the softs? Or do they do hards and potentially suffer at the end.
