Start on hard, go long, switch to soft for the end phase when he has less fuel.

Yes, I know. It was a rhetorical question b/c Perez keeps dropping & is going to have an even more difficult time when he pits.

Edit* Now Red Bull has thrown in the towel a bit & Perez will have to make his softs last 20+ laps instead of under 15 as originally predicted.
Looks like he's got the Mediums, then.

Others will be going slower to save their hards, Perez can push more with less fuel and softs.
If we get a SC, perez will be screwed.
