Good pole, that got a smile out of me despite not being so fond of Russell.

Also, I’ll never enjoy seeing the awful comments about Bottas on the other forums.

It should be an interesting start, that’s for sure.

Dang it, wanted it for George.

Hamilton fuming that Bottas isn’t there to take out Max.

Time to have a word with George.

Now watch how tomorrow is dry and he'll just plummet down the order. :indiff:
As is tradition, sadly. The start will be key if it's raining like it was today, which has consistently been George's weakness.

Lando's been taken to the hospital for precautionary x-rays after he complained of pain in his elbow/arm. Hope it's not too serious.

I’ve read Vandoorne could be in if McLaren gets the car repaired (& Lando has to sit out). Wonder how bad it’ll look if Danny gets outraced by the reserve.

You can't replace a driver after qualifying. They have to have done some laps in an official session before the race. If Lando can't race, that car can't race either.

IF we do get the race going tomorrow it's going to be something to savour, especially if the conditions are flip-flopping as much as they did today.

Enquiring minds also want to know how sodden a certain @Dennisch was by the time Quali finished. :P

Lando has been cleared to race tomorrow. Pitlane start seems likely, given how badly damaged the car is.

Edit: With Bottas' penalty and Norris' accident, both Williams are technically in the top 10 for the first time since... 2015?

Another big crash at Eau Rouge in F3. This time involving Amaury Cordeel and Calan Williams in a near carbon copy of Hubert and Correa, but both drivers have walked away, though Calan looks a bit sore.

Whew, caught up on all the highlights. It was really dumping at points! Yikes. Glad Norris is OK. Great Q3 for Russell and Ricciardo.

Really enjoyed Alonso's visor cam.

Just watched it, interesting session, standout performances from the usual suspects. George almost getting pole at Spa in that Williams is insane.

Shame on FIA with Norris though. Those were "a crash is absolutely 100% inevitable" conditions on a track like Spa, but as usual they sit and wait for it to happen.

This shot should have been enough for them to push the button

If not that, the next one but at that point it was already too late to avoid the inevitable.

The mistakes from Masi just keep racking up and I genuinely do feel like our luck is going to run out sooner or later.

Great session except for Lando’s crash. I guess the people who say George doesn’t deserve a Mercedes seat can stfu now.

Nothing new that he is quick in quali and quick in wet and mixed conditions. Just remember he was faster than Bottas in the Merc in Imola in his Williams in changing conditions and isn't called Mr. Saturday for no reason ☺️

That Williams is dog ****. That was 99% Russel.
While there's no denying that Russell put in a godworthy lap, Latifi still qualified 12th, quite a ways away from the Alfas and Haases. I'd say the Williams is not as bad as it used to be, at least on single lap pace. Obviously when the green flag drops tomorrow both of them are going to sink to the bottom because the race pace is tragic

If Mercedes have not yet fully made a Decision on Bottas or Russell.
I wonder if him getting P2 will have any real influence.

I personally think they will resign Bottas to keep Hamilton happy.
Hamilton kinda admitted he prefers Bottas and its not hard to see why.
Bottas will always move over.

After the crash Max went to the race directors and had a discussion about drivers safety (again).
