Are you sure? Max should be able to pass Russell without problems.
Once Perez stops giving him DRS.

Russell just opened a 1.5 sec gap on Perez so yeah, the mercs have pace

Now Max has Norris on his ass.

Camera juggle in the pits? :odd:

Russell looking to do a 1-stop. Not sure if that'll work today.

The 1-stop could work
But not from when George pitted

Max pitting again?

Yikes, hard stop by Oscar. 😅

Oscar nearly took out his front jackman.

Norris got boned in pits.

Big fail from SAI who did nothing on that short stint on the MED tires.

While Ferrari is seemingly trying to get Hamilton to win, Bottas has accidentally found himself in the points.

EDIT: Bottas realized this absurd position and has pitted to return to the rear of the grid. Carry on.

Whew, nice move, Oscar. C'mon, Lando. 😤

Wonder if Perez will have a drive after the summer break.

Hamilton wins.

Edit: I am very wrong it seems.

Incredible from George!

Lando has to sort his starts and his opening laps out or he will never be a champion.

What a drive from Russel, got the tyres to the end and knew exactly how to defend his position. Brilliant drive.

Top drive for Oscar as well, very unlucky to not have had a shot at the win there.

Brilliant drive for Russell. Absolute 10. McLaren once again with the odd strategy giving Max that advantage over Lando.

Ferrari right there with them after pitting Sainz on a short stint and ruining both of their races.

Feel like that closest gal between podium places in a while, great race.

Incredible scenes. Who would have expected that going to proper and historic permanent circuits would produce the best races???
We need more street tracks.

Lewis must be getting sleepless nights over his decision.

Surprisingly clean race. Kinda dull. No weather. No incidents. But the podium finishers within a sniff of each other by the checkered flag? Nice.

Shocked by the legit pace from the Mercs. Nice win. Genius one-stop for George. I thought Lewis would've gotten past on his own or with orders. Can't remember the last time a Merc 1-2 was a surprise and not an expectation.

Congrats to Oscar's P3. I had hoped Norris would've been higher up in the mix, but that's decent points.

Nice to see Red Bull looking vulnerable.

The Ferrari's looked good for a while, but then sorta... disappeared.

Summer break is going to take forever.

Kinda dull.
What race did you watch? Did you accidentally have the 2023 race on replay or something? That was a tense exciting race the whole way through. You don't need passes (of which there were a good few) or crashes to make a good race.
