I couldn't agree more, Formula 1 looks so ugly now such a shame, 2008 F1 cars looked so god damm amazing.

According to the Formula Nippon Wikipedia entry, the chassis make for the '09 cars is Swift. And they look that way too.

Those are some pretty cool cars. What does Nippon mean anyway? It would be cool if the races were televised here in the States.

Its just Japanese Formula 3, been around for ages and was usually where many wanabe F1 drivers attempted to gain experience and a name for themselves when they couldn't get seats in European series.
I wouldn't rate any of the drivers particularly highly, though that chassis does look distinictive at least.
