Forza 3 370Z vs GT5D 370Z

Surely not a Forza vs GT thread! That's a first.

Why are we comparing two games that are exclusive to different consoles and therefore not even in competition with each other?

Deep Space on the PS3 is more of a threat to GT5 than FM3. You're hardly going to walk in to a gaming shop to buy another PS3 game and end up buying an xbox plus FM3 plus xbox live subscription etc etc instead are you!

Of course they compete. People buy PS3s for the sole purpose of playing GT5 and I've seen some people buying Xboxes to play Forza 3. Deciding which console to buy is a competition already. Not to mention those who have both consoles.

It may not be a competition as big as it would be if both were multiplatform games but they compete still.

Forza is always been wrong, period.

Interresting....I always thought the exact OPPOSITE. Forza has always felt much more realstic to me compared to GT. From all my experience with real life road track racing and autocross, this is the game that has come the closest to that feeling. GT has never felt right to me. Not even GT5P. And this is coming from someone that always loved the GT series. This thread is just going to turn into the same Forza vs GT thread.

I bought my Xbox just so I could play Forza 3. I have also bought the M$ wheel to play it with too. I also bought my PS3 a few years back just so I could play GTHD. Damn, I've spent so much money just to play driving games!

Haven't we all I even bought a G25 wheel for GTHD. I think i have to give GTHD another go to see how it comapares to more recent GT games

Forza 2 and 3 had better physics than GT4 that is a fact. Forza 2 had its flaws just like GT4 but it was a bit more accurate in a lot of respects.

But i have to disagree with you with prologue and the time trial demo. While prologue had its flaws it was more realistic than Forza 3 in some respects. Now the Time trial demo to me, feels in a different league. The flaws with Forza are very evident when you directly compare the two with for example, rFactor (Which I consider one of the best racing sims on PC). GT5 is a lot closer to realism.

Here is about a bunch of people with video reviews.

The 2nd video on that page is hilarious! It is unbelievable honestly. If you can't sit through his sorry excuse for rhetoric for the enitire length of the video, everyone should skip to around 6:30 (he does throw a couple explicit words). But at this point in the video you can really understand why everything this guy says is completley wrong. Enjoy!

I didn't get to the 2nd one, I'm still stuck on the first one.
He openly admits he knows nothing about cars, and last I saw, was I believe trying to say the tire marks on Indianapolis raceway look like crayon marks.

And people like this are the sole reason I haven't been able to force myself to buy an XBOX yet. Just so many stupid people, I can't even say what I'd like to call 'em.

For me it has nothing to do with Forza vs GT.
It has everything to do with idiots, whether they support GT or Forza.
It just seems to me XBOX is home of all the biggest fanboys, and therefore get the meanest flamings on the net.

Because just from the few things I know about Forza, (like steering assist) anyone defending GT on a physics level is inherently right, whether they are a blubbering idiot or not. What was this thread about? oh, ok, yeah, on topic, I think.
