If you don't want the entire experience spoiled, skip to 4:39.

I couldn't care one bit considering I'm going to spend at least an hour in Autovista anyway. So much potential and it feeds that side of me that needs to know everything about the cars I love.

I can already think of several ways they can progress AV even further.

EDIT: Error on my behalf, it's 4:39, not 3.

If only i won the lottery tonight

That GTO looks TOUGH! Too bad those hoods will only be any good in drag racing anyway for obvious visibility issues for cockpit view drivers.

Wow. Whoever is interviewing Dan in those videos has the most comical voice I have ever heard.

That guy definitely chose the wrong profession.

Forza is looking very good. The LFA doppler effects are much improved. It does make me sad though, as I have been waiting for proper consistent engine sounds from GT5 for ages. IMO Forza has always been ahead in the sound department, with the doppler effect maybe being 2nd to GT5's but it looks like they re ahead now. Lets hop spec 2.0 brings some improvements although there is no mention of sound improvements, I hope they slip some new samples is.

I love how the drivers are able to overtake cars on the outside line like nothing.

lol

It's called difficulty level, traditionally Forza can turn up the difficulty level for more competitive AI.

However, I would not be surprised if Frozzy's comment is still correct after the full release with no aids/assists. The other problem to watch for in these console "sims" is the lack of proper physics for the sandtraps. These spots in RL are designed to slow/stop the car ASAP and I notice in GT5 (I have not played FM3 series) that they are merlely modeled as more runoff areas.
:ouch:

If that's a concern then you've come to the right game. I'm not gonna say every track is 100 percent perfect when it comes to the sandtraps....scratch that, when it comes to the sandtraps in FM3 they are every bit of the word.

That's very strange.

Maybe it's just some greendiscs. There aren't 2 varients of that Z4 race care are there (or what ever it is).

I'm pretty sure it's a greendisc issue. It would be kinda dumb to have to practically identical cockpits (identical from what I can see) with one working and the other not. Even if it was the case that looks like a VERY easy patch.

Possibly a greendisc issue.

Also, on another note, that Bentley Speed 8 vid from VVV. Maybe displays are frozen in replays? I noticed in the demo that when you start a race, the speed and gear display shows what you had when you finished your last race or restarted when in the same car.

I know I'm being a bit hopeful here. I really wouldn't be surprised if they are broken going by T10s track record.

To be fair their "track record" for interiors includes only 1 game.

I'm being cautiously optimistic here, but I'm thinking it's only in replays, a green disc issue, or both.

Certainly does seem to be a mix of videos with some working and some not. FM3 didnt have any issues with dials not working did it?

side note: MintBerryCrunch, after watching tonights South Park I now understand your username a little more :D

I think people on Forzamotorsport.net talked about a few more on F3, some of them were analog dials.I can't remember which ones since apparently i never bought one with broken dials eheh.

BTW, hey everyone new guy here. Will stay clear from the F Vs Gt5 though.eheh

Yes it did several cars have dials not working in FM3, atleast on my ultimate edition disc :/

Really hope they are all working in FM4 it's very annoying with just blank dials

Yes the HKS lancer Evo is one with "glued" on dials :)

I wasn't aware of many issues, I usually drove from the hood view. Although its cockpit from here as it looks much more drivable.

It did have a few race cars with broken dials. I can't remember what cars though.

And I'm still amazed I was the first to get this name.:D

EDIT: Damn I really need to refresh the page when I walk away while typing a post.

EDIT: And I actually didn't see it for myself in game until a month or 2 ago. I rarely drove in cockpit view until I had my Fanatec.

One of the Mclaren F1 GTRs had a broken dash...which made absolutely zero sense due to the fact that the other cars (identical) were fully functional. (this is FM3 I'm talking about)

I simply CANNOT wait to wheel the older cars around some of these tracks. The weight transfer, the balance, the suppleness of the suspension, the lack of grip... That video of the DBR1 just needs someone who can drive at the helm and it will be puuurrrrrfect.

nice! I never played FM3 (ok, once for a few minutes with gamepad at friend's house).

I hope T10 keep the sandtraps and even grass areas realistic in FM4 and not just pavement that looks like sand/grass!
