The only thing I wish for now is that when you level up you get a choice of cars ala fm4.

Forza Horizon 2 revived this mechanic (sorta) wth the level up wheel of fortune so there's a little hope for this gen.

Every time you level up in FH2 you get a wheelspin. It's fairly impossible to miss.

I have only one wishlist request. Free races that are fully customisable. It's great having such a diverse and superb car lis but if I can't match up a field of 24 btcc cars together without random sports cars appearing then it kind feels for nothing. I want to choose the cars the Ai run and preferably be able to choose from garage cars as well in order to be able to use different liveries.

This was possible in FM4 & I believe FM5 by creating a private racing lobby and individually selecting the A.I.'s cars.

@ALAN ULTIMATE That X-1 looks literally fabulous but I shudder to think how much its owner would charge T10 to let them scan it. Perhaps Special Operations could let them have their CAD files but unless they could get hold of the actual car we'd be moving into Vision GT science fiction territory as far as its handling characteristics were concerned.

I think they could do the X-1 since it basically is a reskinned MP4-12C with worse aerodynamics (about dynamics/handling/etc)

Would anyone like to make a V8 Supercars livery reference thread? I don't have the skills to do all those renaming links with pics. There are so many liveries from 2013 to now. Nice to introduce liveries to those that don't know a thing about V8s. It's also a quick guide for players who want to make sure the skins are "authentic replications" before buying in the game.

I hope they bring back the option from Forza 4, were you could set up an online lobby and fill it with AI and chose which cars the AI would drive!

Maybe because it's an easy way to level up. On Forza 4 I just used the TG test track and full AI to get the affinity levels up for every make to get free upgrades.

it was not about the leveling up for me. But was the freedom to create races that i could enjoy, against the cars, laps and tracks of my choosing, rather then per-determined cars from the single player option.

I would create races such as Impreza vs Evo etc. without this option your left in the hands of the computer to choose your AI opponents which sometimes creates a rather stupid field of cars that have no place racing each other.
