So we can finally take screenshots... and we have no way of uploading them anywhere.

Okay, that's not a huge problem for me as I can just capture the capture with my, you guessed it, capture card. Oh wait, the Kinect icon is being obtrusive as 🤬.

Why, Xbox?

Upload to OneDrive is an option and then you just download them onto your computer in PNG format.

Still haven't found the barn find on Storm Island, if anyone point me in the general direction then that'll be great 👍

I've got it circled for you. Be aware the car won't be there until the game tells you there is a barn find on the island, and that won't happen until you've won a few races on the island first.

What with the free Mazda bundle yesterday and the three new Vision GT cars in GT6, I was a pretty busy gamer last night.

I know a lot of people are "X999 or GTFO" but for me, a nicely balanced D500 is perfection. Just enough power to make it entertaining, but not so powerful that it's driving me rather than the other way around.

I have arrived to the dark side of consoles to join the greenbox crusaders.

Shame you bought the wrong version of the game...

The 360 is a fabulous choice, don't get me wrong, as FM4 and FH1 sucked up a lot of my time. But the cut-down, half-assed version of FH2 that is on that console is, in a lot of ways, worse than the game it's a sequel to.

Alright, I have to talk about this again. I still can't understand why Turn 10 thought that making the "Fast & Furious" expansion a separate game was a good idea. Sure, players could get a small taste of what Forza Horizon 2 is like before they go out and play it, but isn't that what the demos were for?

Once again, I can't wrap my hand around how they modeled several new cars for the sake of only being included in this one, small game.

It may or may not come down to licensing issues or something or other.

Because Nitrous. :dopey: Jk, yeah I don't know either. :P

For me, it's a pretty good game so far. I haven't found anything too bad so far in my 2 hours of play time. I'm probably being too positive to the 360 version because this is my first Forza game that I've owned so I didn't really know what to expect.

@Ameer67 -- It's not a bad game, so let's put it this way: if you like FH2-360, you should definitely pick up FH1 when you get a chance. 👍 Bear in mind that it's more "limited" than the sequel in some ways -- fences around roads, you can only swap cars at hubs, etc. -- but I enjoyed it a lot more.

The physics in FH1 were closer to the simulation side of the spectrum, and in my opinion it had better road/circuit designs (I guess that's a criticism on both versions of FH2). I drove more than 20,000 virtual miles in the original game, just cruising and drifting and having fun, and tearing up those rallycross circuits.

Well then, that's good then; it sets the bar a bit lower for when you do inevitably grab FH1 and FM4 for cheap. :P

Yesterday I went over to a friend's house. Surprisingly and coincidentally, he had an Xbox One with Forza Horizon 2. So that was the perfect opportunity to let me compare the two versions. I grab the controller and see the differences nearly instantly. First thing that struck me were the graphics. They are simply amazing. Wow. Really, wow. Everything was vivid and sharp. The next thing I noticed was the controller vibration. I liked how the triggers themselves would vibrate too when doing something like a burnout. It's a pretty neat feature that helps with the road feel. The final thing I noticed was the world itself. There were some slight differences compared to the 360 version. (Some fences that were there in the 360 version were not there in the One version, for example.) All in all, if I had the opportunity to grab an Xbox One, I'd be gone for quite a while.

Since our brief conversation about FH1 above, I actually booted up the game for the first time since FH2's release and the first time on my LCD monitor...and the experience is magical all over again. :) Colorado is so vibrant compared to the XB360 rendition of southern Europe, and the physics are in a class above everything I've been playing lately that isn't Enthusia. With sextuple the number of pixels on screen it's that much easier to aim for the apex, so I've spent the evening topping off some of my Rivals lists. :mischievous:

It has me considering another purchase of XBL Gold, possibly my last one.

I'd be surprised if they don't release the pre-order cars as DLC at some point. I'd be annoyed if they don't, because I want that M6.

As for more car packs, it's possible, but we haven't seen any signs of them (clue threads, etc) which we should have by now.

That's what I'm waiting for too.

According to this week's Rear View Mirror, a new car pack comes out tomorrow. Scroll to the bottom of this link:

"And, with that, I wish you happy racing and hope to see ya tomorrow for #ForzaHorizon2sday on Twitch beginning at 1 p.m. Pacific, where I’ll be showing off the cars from our next car pack for Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One, which will be released tomorrow. See you then!"

Wonder what they'll add.
