New Cars revealed:

2012 Hennessey Venom GT
2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II
1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale EVO
2013 Ariel Atom 500 V8
2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe
1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe
1971 Plymouth Cuda 426 HEMI
1977 Ford Escort RS1800
2013 Mazda MX-5
1970 Nissan Datsun 510
1980 Renault 5 Turbo
1974 Toyota Celica GT
2003 Volkswagen Golf R32
1983 Audi Sport Quattro

The Atom is going to be a beast to pilot quickly. Conversely, the RS1800 might just be the sweetest way to travel the map.

The RX-3 was a favorite of mine in FH1 -- a sprightly little tin can full of angry bees. :D With a fully-tuned 13B-REW swap it could barely crest 200mph while bobbing and darting around from the aerodynamic lift...

I have yet to try it, I had already gotten rid of FH before it came out. Buying it now wouldnt be to much of a problem, because technically it is new to me :P

Alpine is technically a skunk works for Renault. The cars full name is a Renault Alpine XXXX. If that makes any since as why its a Renault.

This is what we know:

-it is being developed by sumo digital instead of playground games
-it is based on the horizon 1 engine
-it will not have weather or drivatar
-it is basically a different game

Yes, but I'm just hoping that Turn 10 will show screenshots and gameplay for the Xbox 360 version of Forza Horizon 2 during Gamescom 2014.

I don't want the Xbox 360 version to be shown during launch day, because that doesn't sound fair to me.

Pretty sure it's also illegal, you have to show the game before it's released, or someone told me it's illegal

Not even slightly true.

You can't have false advertising, but there is no rule that I'm aware of that you HAVE to advertise your product. It's a smart thing to do, but it's not mandatory. As long as T10/Playground are clear that what they're showing is the X1 version and not the 360 version, and they have been, there's no problem.

Once it's released you can see it in the game store, or you can hire it, or you can look at any of the many "Let's Play"s that will turn up on Youtube.

I'd be surprised if we see anything about the 360 version before release, but they might take pity and show a few bits. I doubt they want to dilute their X1 campaign though.

Not sure if this was posted or not. But here's an interview with Ralph Fulton explaining some things like the showcase events.

With Youtube being the main advertiser for pretty much of all of gaming nowadays the last thing you won't to show is footage of a last-gen and current-gen title. The problem with Youtube is that the compression is really bad, even in 1080p, and hides the quality and details of current-gen titles but it also hides the lack of details and quality in last-gen titles.

Simple truth is that services like Youtube make new games look like trash.

Fullscreen a video I recorded at the highest quality I possibly could:

It doesn't even compare to my oirginal video let alone the game itself.(Not to mention it kills sound too.)

Just saw this and I have to say, looks pretty nice. I'm not a Xbox person but hats off for a nice model.
