I am wondering why the car list is 200 when Forza 5+DLC minus the road racing cars is above that. If you add the new cars from FH2 shouldn't it be around 250?

Don't count the racing vehicles 'cause they won't be in Horizon. Not counting those, "Over 200 cars" sounds about right.

Not every car in forza 5 will be in horizon 2

@Marqus race cars only accounts for about 20 cars

That's what I am saying, if you count the cars the number should be somewhere 250 (with the new cars that FH2 will have) why did those extra cars got cut since they are not road racing?

Forza 5 has over 300 cars with the DLC. So without race cars it's probably like 270-280.

Since I am not going to measure exactly, it doesn't matter the exact number if it's 250 or 280. My point is why are not all cars been transferred (except the road racing from FM5)?

It's kinda weird though. What could be the reason I am wondering?
Because they will want us to buy the DLC cars......AGAIN. :guilty:
Yup.

The same reason they took a lot out of the first and added some back in as dlc, this is not new.

It's not necessarily dlc cars they remove; any of the cars are potential victims

I believe this image illustrates why they DLC already existing cars.

Hey, that's what happens. Even with all of it's DLC, the original Horizon didn't have all the road cars from FM4. It's to be expected I guess.
FM4 was on two DVDs, so I think FH1's limiting factor with regard to cars was its single disc, not to mention the space taken up by the detailed world. I assume disc space isn't an issue on the XBone. It might involve varying license agreements among manufacturers.

It's more than a month for us Brits. Euro release is the following Friday, October 3rd. :grumpy:

Hopefully (since it's digitally distributed), there won't be a similar embargo on the demo. Hopefully, there will actually be a demo.
I think it's September everywhere

Hopefully there are parking lots to do cars and coffee shoots.
Hopefully the parking lots will be modelled properly, so that they don't retain the gravity/slope data of the landscape that originally existed before the 3D mesh was flattened for the pavement.

At least, that's my theory on what happened in FH1, for the popular "hellaflush/lowrider" spots that also resulted in surreal vehicle behavior.
