*Puts up M4 Horizon Edition during the most active part of the day, ends up getting only $200K*

Someone just got an awesome steal. :indiff:

It's been that way since Motorsport 2 and I hated it then and I feel no differently about it now. If the auction ends in 1 minute, then end in one minute, dammit.
I think it just adds a minute every time someone bids. Had an auction earlier that was at '1 minute', but it just kept extending everytime someone placed a bid. Took nearly 10 minutes.

Actually bid on this and won it for 3,000 instead of buying it out like I usually do

Edit got this m5 for 3,000 to

Won for 14,000 had to out bid two people for it.

I am trying to use the auction house to buy another RX7 after winning my first, everytime I search for one with any criteria other than the car being an RX7 I always get zero search results, is nobody selling or is it not working for me?

It's just that valuable to everyone since you can win one and only one. I haven't seen a single one for sale yet.

Though people don't seem to be hesitant about selling their Murcielago SV.

Picked up all the (11 currently available) Horizon Edition cars this afternoon, most of them pretty cheap.

When searching I would look for cars with no bids and 1 minute remaining. I got outbid on a few of them but did manage to get some bargains around the 200,000 CR mark.

I obviously need to work on my Auction House game; I haven't been able to snap up any fantastic deals. Nabbed a few HE cars for under 800k, but that's about it.

Got a Quattro S1 for 70K, so I'm pretty chuffed. I bid on two Quattros, one was below 70K start bid and 206K buyout. The other was 70K starting price and 400K buyout. The latter was what I was interested in because the higher buyout price will push away last second buyouts. So my distraction auction (the former one) got heated after I bid on it and got up to over 100K before being bought out, meanwhile I got my one for 70K without having to fight. Return my credits from the lost auction and wallah!

This seems to be a solid technique as it has worked for me twice in a row... Keep in mind I've only done 4 Auctions or so.

I have been outbid on every LFA I tried to get  I may have to go the buyout route. But I blew most of my credits on the Enzo last night, time to win some races.

I think the M4 is just not that popular an HE car compared to the M3. I went to the auction house today to pick up more HE cars. I had to pay a lot for the M3 and got the M4 for under 400k. I also got the Viper and Focus.

Picked up some bargains today; Focus ST for 4k, Alfa 155 for 3k and an Evora S for 10k. Quite pleased with the S15 starter car for a 19k buy out, too. Making an HKS livery for it.

I think this question probably belongs here, if you're outbid, can you only get your money back after the auction is up? Annoying having 5million Cr tied up for the next 18 hours.
