Managed to scoop a Horizon Edition Jaguar F-Type for £500,000. :D Now, to sell for profit or keep...its boost is the same as the BRZ and I really hate driving that thing.

So... After winning the Camaro HE from a wheelspin, I decided to get things done properly.

Bought the HE Viper for ~400k, the HE Focus for ~500k and the GT HE for ~1.4m. Guess I'm done on the HE front, for now. Next up: The more expensive "regular" cars.

I bought the last few on auction after I got tired of waiting for them to come up, Already bought up the expensive ones (not the 10 million credit ones!) except the LaFerrari, it's next. :dopey:

Snagged a 155 Q4 for 3k because why not.

Also got a HE M4 for a bargain 296k.

The Warthog is the most limited car in the game right now. Barnfinds are limited to one per player. HEs are limited by wheelspins but otherwise not limited at all, unicorns are limited by whatever ridiculous Forzathon event they force you to complete, but Warthogs are by far the most limited since it's only given to players who have also played Halo, been given a code and have redeemed that code. And yet despite that, the people who have been awarded Warthogs are auctioning them off at a surprising rate, and letting them go for ridiculously low prices.

This is not a complaint, by the way. I'm thankful for all those Halo players who feel they don't need their Warthogs. It's allowed me to get one when I wouldn't have been able to any other way.

Same here! I was wondering when and if :) Happy today.

I got a HE Project 7 for 400k this morning. I suspect I was the only bidder as someone had tuned it to S2 class, but removed the HE tyres and raised the ride height. It's back to stock now. A bargain for the sound alone.

I got a Lamborghini Jalpa a couple nights ago but forgot to take a pic. How I got it is another example of people being stupid in the auction house. There were five available, all in the next 30 minutes and all at 9k minimum bid with 47k buyout. I bid on the next one up and waited the five minutes for the auction to end. With a minute to go, someone outbid me at 10k. I looked and all the other cars were still available at 9k. So I bid on the next one, waited three minutes and won it. Meanwhile, the original car I bid on ended up in a bidding war that took it all the way up to 40k. Meanwhile the other three cars that were still available at 9k went unsold.

My latest purchase:

Quite expensive, but it does represent a 363,000 credit saving from the autoshow price.

Warthog acquired..I didn't think 500k was that bad considering I had no other way of getting to it.

365k for the M4: No competition for a chintzy gold chrome model, as anticipated
395k for the Project 7: Pushed someone else up to 900k on one before bailing and bagging a relative bargain
774k on the BRZ: Bought about half an hour before people really started throwing money at anyone auctioning one
2.2 Mil for the M3: Most bidders seemed reluctant to go above 2 Mil and my chances of getting anything under 1.9 Mil seemed dire

Also ended up winning a BRZ HE with a spin between buying those last two cars. That ought to fetch more than what I paid for mine earlier if bidding habits carry on as they are tonight.

I decided to make a final attempt at getting the remaining HE cars that I don't have before the update drops. After wasting one million credits in wheelspins to get them, I decided to try the auction house.

With the amount of money I have, the Huracan HE cost me an arm and a leg, but I managed to claim it.

Got really lucky with the BRZ HE. I was yelling at the game to end the auction already so I wouldn't have to spend more money. I guess it worked.

Finally, I won the Focus HE for barely under a million. @AudiMan2011: I see we spent the same amount on the Focus. :P

So with that, I now own all of the first set of HE cars. I'm never gambling on wheelspins again.

Will be interesting to see how the market for the first 11 HE cars change when they go out of rotation in the upcoming update.

I wonder also if they'll make these new batch of HE cars harder to win from wheelspins considering there's only 7 of them vs 11 in the first rotation, and how that will affect there price. I'm saving my wheelspins to hopefully try win a few when the update first drops.
