Another thing, the 1998 Nissan in that car list is put under sports cars. I guess that could be the S14 Silvia, but we already saw the S14 Silvia in the Forzathon event screenshot and it was a Zenki body. The problem with that is the Nissan unknown here is a 1998 model, the S14 was a Kouki body even in the states by 1998. So, it's either of these 3 things: Turn 10 added a new 1998 Nissan model, Turn 10 got the model year wrong on the Silvia, or Turn 10 is adding 2 S14s.

AM RB001
i8
Mustang
VK Commodore

?

Great catches, guys!

My thoughts:
  • The RB001 would be at the very top in terms of PP. Higher than the FXX K, even. So that's probably a Vulcan.
  • The BMW can't be the i8, since that's AWD. The PI is also lower than the M4, so it almost has to be the M2.
  • 2010 Ford unknown is probably an Aussie car — maybe the 2010 Falcon XR8? That was the last year for that engine according to Wiki, but the PI still seems a little low (559 puts it below a Fiesta ST). Base model V6 Mustang? A truck of some sort?
  • 1985 Holden, with a PI around the same as the VL Commodore? It could be the VK, but I thought that was significantly down on power. Not familiar enough with the Holden lineup to know what else it could be.
  • The 1976 Jeep is either a DJ, J-series truck, or Cherokee. My guess is the truck, because Gladiator is a badass name.
  • The 1998 Nissan could be the return of the Z32. The PI is slightly higher than the S15, and it's rear drive. Isn't the S14, since that'd be an earlier year.
  • Pagani is simple enough: BC.
  • I'm going to assume the Volvo is the V60 Polestar. Which I'm fine with even if it's pretty much the same as the S60, because the wagon looks better.

There's no way we are getting the RB001. It's not going into production until something like 2018, which means it's mostly still design on paper.

@SlipZtrEm the volvo now has a 4 cylinder which actually has more power than the old 6, so there's more difference than you'd think.

The leaked car has 3 less PI though. Still AWD and 2015, so I'd guess it's the 6-cyl V60P.

The 1998 Nissan could be one of the rare factory Sileightys which were produced during that year. Wouldn't take much in the way of resources to model it either, and it'd keep JDM / drift fanbois happy.

The 2010 Ford might be the return of the Taurus SHO. That said, I think a few of the cars on there might be just pulled from whatever resources were used to make Horizon 2 (such as the F&F cars) and - by possible extension - the first Horizon, since the SHO was a traffic car in that and had a PI rating not too far from the Focus ST when accessed with mods. That doesn't necessarily mean they'll return though, and might just be quietly patched out at launch.

Likely cars to show up due to the placeholders (in my opinion):

1. Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato '16
2. BMW M2 '16
3. Ford Shelby GT500 '10
4. Holden Commodore VK '85
5. Jeep CJ5 '76
6. Radical RXC Turbo '15
7. Pagani Huayra '16
8. Volvo S60 T5 '15

It's obvious the 1998 Nissan is definitely an S14 and I smell the rejoice of all the posers desperately wanting the car so bad...

S14 is older than '98

I'm gonna take a few guesses at the unknown cars, these are just speculation and not proven.
- 2016 Aston Martin, I'm thinking either Lagonda or DB11.
- 2016 BMW unknown, I think maybe the F30 M3 or the new M2.
- 2010 Ford unknown, maybe a Ranger or something?
- 1985 Holden unknown, the most popular result for 1985 Holden is VK Calais, so I'll go with that
- 1976 Jeep, possibly the CJ5 to match the Toyota FJ40?
- 2015 Radical, RXC500?
- 1998 Nissan, maybe the confirmed S14?
- 2016 Pagani, Huayra BC maybe?
- 2015 Volvo, an XC70 is unlikely but would make sense IMO, so I'll say that.
The Aston would be Vulcan, or by some miracle, that Red Bull project. It costs more than One-77, so I think that rules out the DB11.
I think the BMW is M2 personally. Forza hasn't struck me as the game to include coupes & sedans together of the same model family.
The Pagani is definitely the BC.

Going through the video, I didn't see a Gallardo, either. And I thought the SLR was left out, yet it appears in the list as well. You may have some work ahead of you @SlipZtrEm. :P

Just a note, this is definitely something it does. I believe the M4 and C63S Coupe are both sedans which is a weird decision. Kind of like how GTA 5 calls the BMW 7 series parody a "coupe".

I just thought the PP was a placeholder. Anyhow, these are basically all of the cars I can think of for each unknown model.

1. Aston Martin Vulcan, it can't be the AM RB001 since it's not in production yet, Turn 10 wouldn't be able to model it.
2. BMW M2 or i8, though I'm not sure it could be the M2, because the M235i is categorized as a Super Saloon despite being a couple along with the M4 and the M2 is the full-on M version of a 2-series.
3. 2010 Ford Falcon XR6, XR8, or 2010 Mustang GT. I would say GT500, but Turn 10 so far has proven to me that they wouldn't add cars unless they had a relevance. The 2010 Mustang GT would make sense as there isn't a 5th gen Mustang that isn't a Shelby GT500 yet. The 2010 GT500 would be kinda pointless. Plus, the Falcon XR6 or XR8 would continue with the Aussie theme. I can't be a truck since the category is "Modern Muscle".
4. The 1985 Holden, I'm sticking by my idea of it being the VK Group A Commodore. It just makes the most sense as it's part of Holden's Aussie Touring Car history.
5. I'm going with the Jeep being a CJ. It would make sense as Turn 10 doesn't have a civilian Jeep from that era yet and it would be great competition for the Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser.
6. 2015 Radical RXC 500.
7. If the Performance level isn't a placeholder, I'm going to guess the facelifted Z32 300ZX or the R34 Skyline GT Turbo. If PL is a placeholder, then I'm guessing it's a S14 silvia; either the Zenki with a mistake made on the year or maybe Turn 10 added a Kouki S14 after all.
8. Pagani Huayra BC, definitely that!
9. The Volvo has to be a either another variant of the S60 or maybe a V60. The car is listed as a sports saloon, so it could only be one of those. Well that or maybe another Volvo sedan from the same year.
