Just realised, we haven't had any officially announced cars that matched the Porsche GT3RS 4.0-looking thing in the initial reveal, have we? RUF is absent so it seems like Porsche is definitely going to be in.

There is nothing to say Porsche and RUF cant be in the same game together.
they were in Forza 4 and Horizon 2, and they will be in Assetto Corsa as well.
Whilst I do find having to pay for the same cars every game to be annoying. I don't completely blame Turn 10, I'm sure if they could, these Porsches would be in the game from the very beginning.
I'm more wondering if we can expect a Volkswagen Car pack at somepoint.

There wasnt any Porsche shown. If you're talking about the blue blur of a car that was on screen behind that one lady, it was one of the new Ford UTE.

Yes, but I doubt that the inclusion of a very specific and sought after brand is going to be limited to a couple of unicorns. It'll be something thrown in and made a big deal of, I would imagine. The amount of Unicorn cars in a game haven't passed the double digits for any iteration if I remember correctly, so it just doesn't seem likely that they'd get a single lone Porsche and throw it in like that.

This is very clearly a 997 GT3 RS 4.0.
There's a lot of distortion and blur on that image, that's why the taillights could look smaller. What looks like a stripe at the bottom could simply be the shadow of the indentation on the bumper as the M4's headlights are reflecting on the passing car. They do the same trick on the RC-F behind it.
I think it's the XK, to be honest.

What's clear is that the picture is actually not very clear at all. The Jag fits the bill, so far. Like I said, it doesn't make sense to have 1, or even a couple of Porsche's as a Unicorn. This is something that they'd likely want to be known to have in the game as it is very much a selling point to many.

Yes, but I feel what @-Fred- explained may be the case;Heres a picture of a white gt3 with the black striping , if you look at the youtube image you can see a bit of the black striping wich the jag doesnt have.
It seems more plausible, really. I just don't believe they'd sneak Porsche's in on the sidelines of the main game. If they do go that route, that would likely make it the only Porsche in the game, which would be extremely odd considering the amount(or really, lack of) unicorns in each iteration.
I'm going to stick with @-Fred- on this one.

To me it's pretty obvious that it's the Porsche. It's not the first time they've done this though. For FM6, a screenshot was released with a whole heap of LMP and GT cars at Sebring, and in the background very faintly you see the IMSA Nissan 300ZX (I think that's what it is called). That car wasn't in the initial release but ended making its way in as DLC. Now I know this is a slightly different circumstance since it's a Porsche, but to me, it's obvious it's a Porsche, it's obvious that they have Porsche ready to go, it's just not obvious as to when it will be available to us, and when it will be available for them to give it to us.
