Is your Spitfire Orange the same one that is used for Jeep? I did that a long time ago but I don't know if yours is an older color or not.

Is your Spitfire Orange the same one that is used for Jeep? I did that a long time ago but I don't know if yours is an older color or not.

According to PaintRef, my version of the color was used for 1976 and 1977 Dodge and Plymouth models, but not Jeep. Yours is a different version. Incedentally, your version has been used by Dodge, Fiat, and Jeep since 2016.

For whatever reason, the current house I'm at doesn't get any sunlight whatsoever so I'm having a hard time taking pics of all the colors that I've made recently :( It's always cloudy or gloomy looking even when I leave and return to the house. I'm at Sunflower Meadows.

Edit: I moved back to Castleview Road lol I'm taking pics now and more colors will be on their way soon :)

I've been able to get back to redoing some of my colours created from the very beginning of the spreadsheet's life, while also starting work on another idea which had been brought up some time ago. That idea should be quite obvious with this latest drop from me:

@JaCor653
@JaCor653 @Mitcho2001 I redid Lavagrau Perleffekt (Audi) because of the usual issue of same values for base/flake :)
Cheers for helping out with those colours! I did not go in-depth with the colours to start with, so I'll admit, I was a bit lazy there, haha. All I have to remember now is to remove that as well as Akoya Silver Metallic (or any other colours that are redone before I can get to them) from my personal list.

@MadaraxUchiha and @Mitcho2001, you might want to do what I've done and go back through all of your posts to check for duplicate/repeat colors. @Mitcho2001, I know you're busy with college, but maybe you could just do a little here and there when you have some free time. @MadaraxUchiha, I know you have a massive amount of colors to go through. I found that it was a good thing to do for completion's sake, plus I added at least 150-200 colors to the spreadsheet. It doesn't have to be done immediately; I started it in winter, when there isn't much to do. I know winter is nearly a month away at this point, but still. It's funny. I remember @MadaraxUchiha saying a long time ago that Mercury wasn't in the spreadsheet, and that needed to change. If I'd known to check for duplicates and repeats, then there would have probably been at least a dozen Mercury color, just from me.

Admittedly, I have been rather slack the past few weeks since the uni workload really started to become heavier; when I had more work to complete. I’ve kinda stressed out about it recently, so that hasn’t helped me out mentally. Though I will try to put some work into this whenever possible, even if it is for new colours. I think redoing my older colours can wait or several could be added in every now and again. But of course, the last thing I want to do is repeat a colour already done, so I’ll check if a specific (set of) colour(s) has/have been done already.
At the moment, I’m thinking of getting some colours done and adding them in small batches, or wait until I have a fair number of them done - the former being my choice at the moment.

I was amazed at how many colors I had both done, and at the same time, not done. I did a good job of getting the "main" manufacturers for the colors, but I didn't think about checking for multiple manufacturers until about three weeks ago. There were so many holes in my spreadsheet, and by extension the main spreadsheet, just from these missing repeat colors. I found that is is mainly the main three American corporations that do this, but there are some European and Asian companies doing this as well. It also gives you the chance to learn a bit about how car manufacturer partnerships and mergers work, with different makes sharing colors with each other. I was looking into British Leyland yesterday while checking out some Mini colors I had done.

@VXR The Peugeot 205 Rallye is coming in Spring :) You'll be able to use Jaune Hertz now lol They're also bringing back two Toyota Celica's, the Nissan Pulsar is being added, the Ford Racing Puma, and the Mitsubishi Starion :)

Also, of note, the Mitsubishi Starion wasn't in that list of leaked Forza Horizon 4 cars from a while back, so I wonder what other surprises they have coming in the future. The only Mitsubishi on that list is the 1998 Mitsubishi FTO.

I could not decide whether this color is metallic or solid. I found reference images that suggest both paint materials are accurate. This video of a Vermillion Red Senna makes the color look metallic. However, these photos of a Vermillion Red 720S make the color look solid. I've done both versions, and I'll add both to the spreadsheet.

@MadaraxUchiha, I appreciate your help with adding colors to the spreadsheet. I think it works very well for all three of us to be adding our own colors, so that no one has to wait around for theirs to be added. However, I one small request. Could you please remember to put a space in between the value and the "L" or "R" in each cell? All of the other colors have that going on, and it makes the chart look cleaner and more spaced out. I've fixed a couple of your colors that are like this, near colors I was adding. Would you mind going back and fixing all of those instances, and then doing it the way @Mitcho2001 and I do it, for continuity's sake?

Do we have this blue from Maserati on the list?
View attachment 917953
I think I found it it’s Blu Sofisticato I believe.
Blu Sofisticato is indeed in the spreadsheet. I did that and a handful of other Maserati colours from the GranTurismo a fair while back, though it seems like it should be redone. Checking my version of it, it's far too light a shade blue compared to your provided image and every other reference image, so that will need to be redone sometime. To me, it seems as though the only changes needed are for the hue, so I might have a play around with that at some stage.

Are you sure it's Blu Sofisticato? I did Blu Mediterraneo a long time ago and the color in that picture he shared, at least to my eyes, resembles it. Go take a look at my post and tell me what you think :)

I really like doing classic racing liveries and would love to do the old Alan mann if someone could find a reference image for Alan mann gold that would be awesome thank you love the recent colors that have been coming out and have been using a lot of them

I think that is more solid than metallic. The lighting in that showroom video kinda makes it look like metallic but juding that it´s same color as one on pictures than i think it´s definitely a solid color :)

See, that's what I thought too. However, I found several sources that called the color metallic.

I knew BMW made color with same name and that was indeed metallic but this really looks much more solid :D but if it´s listed as metallic then metallic it is :)

Since there is so much conflicting evidence, I'll just leave both versions in the spreadsheet, and anyone who wants the color can choose the version they feel is more accurate.

@JaCor653 I did the purple Q by Aston Martin color a long time ago but I never shared it. I'll upload it and share it later, though, but I don't know what it's called :( This is the color I did:

Edit: I found the name after a quick Google search :) It's called Vivid Purple :) I'll upload my version later :)

Also, I think you made a mistake on Satin Concours Blue. You said it's 'metal flake' but it clearly isn't. Maybe you made a typo?

I also want to redo your Magma Red because I think it might be possible to bring out the other colors. It doesn't hurt to try, and it feels incomplete without the orange/yellow undertone :( Yours ends up looking like Volcano Red, which we already have on the chart.

These are the reference pictures of Magma Red that I'll be using. Please don't get angry or take offense, I just think we can bring out those other colors. We've done crazier things lol

1. I look forward to seeing your Vivid Purple.

2. Yes, that is an error. It is Two-Tone Matte. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

3. Yes. I realize now after a quick Google search that I used reference images of Volcano Red instead of Magma Red. When you search for that on Google, my reference images come up, so I thought that my images were of Magma Red. However, the article clearly states the the color is Volcano Red. Further research leads me to believe there is no such McLaren color as Magma Red. Those P1 images you posted are Volcano Orange. That is not in the spreadsheet, so do you mind if I take a crack at it tomorrow?

Thanks for bringing these things to my attention. I'm actually surprised I made these mistakes. Usually, I pay closer attention. Oh well, to err is human.

I wanted to do the color, but if you do the color justice then you can do it :) I also believe I did Volcano Red a long time ago myself lol It should be in the chart already :)

Edit: I was right, I did it on April 6th ;p

Maybe you could work out a way to get Volcano Red's yellow flake in there as well?

I find that so odd because from the Google search I did of Volcano Red, every image doesn't show that yellow flake. Yours is so far the only one I've seen that has that. The only other one I've found is this one, but I don't think the yellow is significant honestly because in every other picture it doesn't show:

In most images it looks like this:
