Ok, now I’m annoyed. First off let me tell you that each and every one of us puts a lot of time and effort into the colors we do. We don’t have to do this, we’re not getting paid for any of this, we do this on our own personal free time, but we do it because it’s something we love doing and we want to have for people to enjoy. For the colors that I do, I use the paint chips so that’s how the color is supposed to look, plain and simple. What you need to realize is that a lot of photos you see are edited or they are oversaturated so what you see is wrong and inaccurate. Also, have you calibrated the settings on your tv? Do you even have a 4K UHD tv like I do? If you have different tv settings that can also change how something looks. For someone that isn’t contributing jack **** to the chart you have an awful lot to say about what is right or wrong. How about you start making colors so we can tell you what looks off or what’s what? Would that be better? As I’ve said, I used the paint chips for the colors by the manufacturer so what you see is how it’s supposed to look. If you don’t like it, you can redo it yourself. I’d thank twice before making requests here also because you’re burning your bridges with the creators, do keep in mind there are only 3 of us that regularly and frequently add to the chart. So what you see is what you get unless you do it your own damn self. You’re sounding ungrateful and not respecting the time and effort we’re putting into this. Again, an entirely free service.
I will see myself out of any further responses or posts I will no longer lost I will just shut up being ungrateful was not my intentions maybe my 4k tv is off I am sorry so I will shut up if I see a paint off I will just pick another again sorry but I wasn't being ungrateful I guess I thought I was being helpful I am sorry I seemed like I was being a complete jerk I apologise and I appreciate the work you all do

Thanks again guys for all the effort you all always putting in the spreadsheet and thanks to @JaCord635 for made my petition of the stryker purple of Dodge, it such a beautiful color. I have three others color that I found and are so great. I would really appreciate it if you added it to the spreadsheet. They are

  • Marrone Opus (Lamborghini)
  • Bronzo Opaco (Ferrari, one-off color)
  • Uber Rose Gold (Ferrari)

Rame Opaco I believe is the bronze color you are thinking of it's on the list

Also, Marrone Apus is on the list too. That leaves Uber Rose Gold. I'll do it, but winter is approaching. It might have to wait until spring.

I believe the lightning is still good for the LEGO house if you have the LEGO dlc.
I’ve tried using the “booth” in Lego Valley during Winter once, but it doesn’t really seem to be as effective compared to using a natural light source, even in the other seasons. Though I’m not saying it’s a bad option, because at least you get an idea of how each colour will turn out. That’s more or less my opinion on it, so I’m not intending to start an argument. Don’t feel in the mood to be involved in one, anyway.

Yeah, I've had some success with the LEGO paint area, but natural outdoor lighting is more preferable. I'll have some time tomorrow morning to get Mantis Green and Uber Rose Gold done.

hey guys i still very much enjoy the work that you all put into this amazing spreadsheet, i use it all the time to put unique colors on my cars and couldn’t be more happy with it! but i discovered a little fault yesterday when i wanted to apply mantis green on my 720s, the color itself looks spot on but it supposed to have a metallic flake in it. the color is available in the game as a manufacturer color on the 650s and i can clearly see a flake in it, i tried to replicate it but it didn’t look good, so i wanted to ask if any of you paint wizards could do a better job than me ;) if it's easier to replicate with real pictures i added a link to the instagram account of a guy who owns a mantis green 720s and has many pictures of it with different lighting.:)

Thanks for make the Uber Rose Gold, great work!

I have a little problem, I don't find the Marrone Apus, I only see the Marrone Eklipsis in the Lambo part. Are you sure that you did it or is in the spreadsheet with another name? Sorry for the inconvenience.

I must have been thinking about that color instead. I tell you what, I haven't left my house yet, so I still have the same fall lighting I had earlier. I'll do Marrone Apus now.

I came across this page on google search looking for cool forza paints love the work guys I'm new here still figuring it out and thanks for the paints also I hate to ask does anybody know what this is

I just read an article saying Aston Martin may be closing its doors if the DBX doesn't sell like they expect they are struggling I don't know much about Aston Martin at all but they are nice to look at that would be really sad

They’re putting all their hopes in a high-end SUV when there are other SUVs that do the same thing for a cheaper price. The best luxury SUVs for 2020 are both BMWs so that should tell you something.

I found Irish Green in the spreadsheet (and thanks to you three for the immense amount of work you've put into it), but wondered if it's possibly a little off compared to the real thing, or whether Porsche had multiple colours under that name. It's quite a dark shamrock green (hence the name I assume) - the closest I can find to the screenshots there is this photo in direct sunlight, which to my untrained eye still seems a fair bit darker. The Porsche Club of America also has this page on Irish Green, and while there's no guarantee that their thumbnail is accurate, it comes out as:
Hue 0.35
Saturation 0.85
Brightness 0.26

I checked PaintRef too, and their thumbnail is way, way off, so I checked their brochure scans, and that comes out as:
Hue 0.40
Saturation 0.36
Brightness 0.22

Now, those two colours vary wildly, but they're both darker than the screenshots above. I don't know anything about the process of finding and making these colours for the game, so my suggestion may be wrong or you may have a more reliable source of information on these colours, but I thought it was worth having the discussion.

I just redid the color now :) This time I used the actual paint chip for the color, so here are the new values:

Irish Green (Porsche)

Paint Type:
Normal (Gloss)
- Paint Color: 0.35 L, 0.54 R, 0.20 L

Thanks, much appreciated, that looks great! Do you have a public source for that paint chip information? It might be a useful resource to put in the first post.

If I shared that it would take away from the work that I’m able to do and being able to add to the chart, so I’m not inclined to divulge that information. I hope you understand. I like being able to make contributions to the chart alongside great people like @JaCor653 and @Mitcho2001 and while they have their great methods for acquiring colors, I have mine.
