You aren’t the only one. I probably drove the FG X the most out of all of the Falcon models in Horizon 3, which should say how much I enjoyed it.
I'm just hoping they bring back the DeTomaso Pantera (it was in that huge leak list) and I really want them to add the 2020 BMW M8 Competition. I swear BMW and Audi keep getting shafted in the game while Porsche keeps getting more cars added. Hopefully we get more BMW's or Audi's for the season after the current one.

And I would really love to see one of these added:

We need more wagon representation in game lol

SIDE NOTE
With the help of @PlumCrazy010, he has created a folder of screenshots of every colour in the public spreadsheet. The folder can be viewed here and will also be available to find in my first post in the thread.

Why is every custom two-tone gloss or metal flake color looking ingame like some sort of chromish wrap? I it has reflection but it´s not that deep like default manufacturer colors  Does it have to do something with Forza lighting engine?

Hey, just wondering. Is the link on the first page the updated list or is there a newer one? If there is could I please get the link to it? Cheers.

See, here's how this works. When you paste a link to a document of some sort to a website or a forum thread such as this one, the link takes you to the most recent version of the document linked. That's the only thing that would make sense. What's the point of having a link to an outdated file? Know, I don't know that much about software development or computer programming, but that just doesn't make sense. What I do have is common sense, which tells me that the link goes to the most recent version of the file. You can also find out following the link and looking at the number of colors (rows). If it's over 6,000 or so, then it is the most recent version. It will always link to the most recent version of the file, no matter when in time we're talking about. Tomorrow, it will link to the most recent version. Five years from now, it will link to the most recent version. That's just how it works. You never have to worry about outdated versions when you're working with cloud storage and backup.

@Mitcho2001 Yas Marina Blue is a metallic.
Turns out it is. Should be an easy fix though, given I just have to use the colour sample and take the darkest and lightest points for the base and flake respectively. This also says I probably need to do that extra bit of research as well, haha.

I'm no expert on this, but I think it's due to the lighting engine. One of the prime culprits of being misleading was my original attempt at Porsche's Fayence Yellow, which had a hue value of 0.13 L according to the sample I used. While it looked (pretty much) accurate when creating it, it was too bright a yellow in the open world; it didn't have much of a slight orange tint. So while I don't know a definitive answer, it may be the game's lighting engine.

I've been beaten to colours before, so I know what that feels like. But the good thing is we do have another manufacturer added to the list. Truth be told, I only planned to do Baby Blue as I had a feeling that either you or @MadaraxUchiha may have been working on the others.

Jaguar-007-concept-car-5.jpg

not sure any1 did this cx-75 color? if so can i get the name for it so i can look it up on the spreadsheet...

this is apparently the color of the car from spectre

https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/jaguar/cx75/2015/710480 all i get is that its orange not sure if its the official name of the color

It think it's supposed to be the Jaguar color Firesand. I did that color a while ago; it's in the spreadsheet.

The quantum silver for aston martin is wrong it isn't supposed to be a bluish tint

Spectre silver is also off it's more tan than silver sorry I'm an aston guy

If you're such an expert, then how about you post pictures of how the colors are supposed to look.

hey guys i still very much enjoy the work that you all put into this amazing spreadsheet, i use it all the time to put unique colors on my cars and couldn’t be more happy with it! but i discovered a little fault yesterday when i wanted to apply mantis green on my 720s, the color itself looks spot on but it supposed to have a metallic flake in it. the color is available in the game as a manufacturer color on the 650s and i can clearly see a flake in it, i tried to replicate it but it didn’t look good, so i wanted to ask if any of you paint wizards could do a better job than me ;) if it's easier to replicate with real pictures i added a link to the instagram account of a guy who owns a mantis green 720s and has many pictures of it with different lighting.:)

I’m the one that did Mantis Green a long time ago, and at the time the reference picture I used didn’t show the metal flake so I just assumed it was a gloss color. My mistake. However, this time I’ll let @JaCor653 handle it because he’s done some really great McLaren colors :)

This is the reference picture I initially used:

I’m glad you brought it up otherwise we would’ve had the wrong values for the color still up there, and we’re here to correct that stuff when necessary.

no problem dude, other than the missing flake which is very difficult to see on most pictures you did a great job with the color! 👍

Ok, now I’m annoyed. First off let me tell you that each and every one of us puts a lot of time and effort into the colors we do. We don’t have to do this, we’re not getting paid for any of this, we do this on our own personal free time, but we do it because it’s something we love doing and we want to have for people to enjoy. For the colors that I do, I use the actual paint chips so that’s how the color is supposed to look, plain and simple. What you need to realize is that a lot of photos you see are edited or they are oversaturated so what you see is wrong and inaccurate. Also, have you calibrated the settings on your tv? Do you even have a 4K UHD tv like I do? If you have different tv settings that can also change how something looks. For someone that isn’t contributing jack **** to the chart you have an awful lot to say about what is right or wrong. How about you start making colors so we can tell you what looks off or what’s what? Would that be better? As I’ve said, I used the paint chips for the colors by the manufacturer so what you see is how it’s supposed to look. If you don’t like it, you can redo it yourself. I’d thank twice before making requests here also because you’re burning your bridges with the creators, do keep in mind there are only 3 of us that regularly and frequently add to the chart. So what you see is what you get unless you do it your own damn self. You’re sounding ungrateful and not respecting the time and effort we’re putting into this. Again, an entirely free service.
