What is everyone's strategy for the Playlists? What do you do first?

I think doing the Forzathon challenges first is a good start, but where do you go from there?
Yeah, I usually start with the Weekly and Daily Forzathon challenges, then the championships I can do solo, then when work is over I do the online races. Finally, I do the PR stunts.

The Forzathon challenge, the championships, the speed zone, pr stunt any daily challenges not achieved after the foregoing. Won't do trial / adventure / games.

I do the online game or the trial first then the seasonal championships and the weekly forzathon and if I can I finish them in the weekend. Then I conclude with problem stunts and I'm doing daily forzathon as fast as I can.

Outright speed isn't the answer, you also need grip in order to carry said speeds into and out of the corners.

This is why my 720S PO is my go-to car for most of the speed zones. That or the Mosler.

The Mosler is a beast! I use it for all of the speed zones and speed traps.

I always use it for the speed traps that are on long straights as it currently has a tune that causes it to drop into the floor slightly which increases the top speed. It makes runs up and down the motorway interesting.

@Moglet that explains some of the GTP club leaderboards! Is there a name I could search for to find this tune?

I'll see if I can find it later, it only adds about 10mph to the top speed but its enough to get you fairly high up in most leaderboards. There are faster vehicles though, judging by the overall leaders. I have no idea how they reached some of those crazy speeds!

Strategy goes Weekly, Trial, Playground, then PR, and championships after. Dailies usually happen during that naturally but if they don't I go back and do those.

After trying out all the Formula Drift cars and wasting a couple of hours in this week's Drift zone, I'm none the wiser... :banghead:

Do you have the Hoontruck? I used that and got it after a couple of tries. My issue at first was entering the zone too fast. If I slowed down to like 70-80mph and tapped the ebrake it seemed to work .

1.05GB update anyone? To fix the festival playlist clusterflip I guess?
Installing now as Auction house and other things were offline.

Yep now 50 and 80%.

Can confirm it is for the 80% completion change. It also wiped out any previously completed event in upcoming seasons aside the monthly stuff.

Edit: The GTO with race suspension is stupid low.

Yep. With this update, life will be much more easier in FH4 onward. If more changes come, let us have it PG. Just don't do the opposite though and piss people off haha.

Cheers for the change.

Still hate the circle track for the co-op challenge we lost 2-1. I’m at 67% complete with that and the playground games to finish.

Finally getting into Forza Horizon 4 properly.

Currently doing sign board hunting. Here are some of the events in FH4 Britain, as a result (pardon my fanfiction):

"Construction site shuts down after man, with a blue Subaru, spends 28 staight hours jumping over pipes."

Later that week, at the church of Broadway...

"We are gathered here today to join Frederic and Janet in Holy" **CRAAASH**
"Frederic, do you take" **CRAAASH**
"Janet, do you take Frederic to be you lawful" **CRAAASH**
"Should anyone know of a reason this couple should not be joined in Holy Matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace." *Looks up and waits for massive noise*
*silence*
"Very well, I now pronounce you husband and" **CRAAASH**

Yeah, that's a tough sign to get.

I only needed to do the Trial for 100%, but now I'll probably skip this part. Next season I'll just grab the easy to earn Lotus Elise and take a well-deserved break from this Festival Playlist.

Well the so called Hoonitruck was even more horrible. I simply have no feel for street drifting (I have a working understanding of drift in dirt races though.)

Maybe you should give BMW M2 a shot. It's not as powerful as Hoonitruck, but it's a lot more manageable. It drifts well even when stock, and it's also quite reasonably priced. It's a fantastic car all-round.

Anything RWD with drift suspension should be fine for the tarmac ones, the extra steering lock means you can recover from bigger angles.

Using longer wheelbase cars will also make the transitions between left and right a bit easier, just like it does in real life. An MX5 will be a lot more twitchy than say, a BMW M5.

I am taking notes! I can 2-star most of the drift zones, but I feel it's more by chance than actual skill and understanding of the drift.

My recommendation, as ever, is the Isetta with an AWD drift tune. I made a couple of tunes public - the first one is probably easier to get started with, but both are far easier than any RWD at racking up points!

Worth a try, anyway :)
