At first I didn't care for it, but after seeing it in action, I actually kinda like it. At least it'll give me an excuse to build drift cars my S13 Silvia K's haha!

In terms of content this update is kinda meh... I mean, the Plymouth Fury was being held for the sole reason of making people play the game in a later date. Then we get the Barrett-Jackson Pack, which is not really any news anymore and was a simple port from FM7 (though the cars are friendlier to Horizon's wacky class system) and a couple Mercedes, one of which actually a Nissan in disguise (Class X). The 4-door AMG GT is a very nice addition but making it exclusive is in bad taste, as with the Z4. No news on the expansion, which people paid for (let's hope it comes next month).
The best part of the update is the addition of features in the design editor and the removal of FRR, the latter of which was a bad idea from the get-go, but this is stuff I don't use often and, with regards to the design editor, it won't entice painters to come back to FH4. Biggest reason why people left was they felt they weren't being rewarded enough for making good content and the wheel paint bug that made wheels painted before the December update default to Paint Group 1 instead of being fully painted. There were people with hundreds of liveries in the game prior to that update and they got shafted by Playground's unwillingness to fix it.
tl;dr I wanted a sneak peek at the expansion and I got more of the same, so I'm not too happy...

But... they said it clear that it will come before the end of June. So that count as news I guess.

Just had time to finish watching the vod of the livestream, Could only watch the first 30 mins before. Series 8 looking real promising so far!
They're being very tight lipped about the 2nd expansion though which leads me to believe there is some sort of promo tie-in with it. Whether thats a car or a brand I'm not sure, but could be likely.

Not a bad bet. That and maybe the leaked Aston Martin Valkyrie and Mercedes-AMG Project One could be good bets also.

I'd be down with a second set of Hot Wheels ramps but that seems super unlikely.

The Hot Wheels expansion in FH3 is my favorite of all the Horizon expansions so far, so a brand new set of Hot Wheels tracks would suit me just fine.

Finally saw an auction for the Z4. Clicked on it, but by the time it loaded, it was gone. Wish the AH was optionally text based, rather than always loading a 3D model.
Simply don't have time to put into the game to do the required percentage. Be lucky to scrape 10%.

I just updated my game and the 7 Barrett Jackson cars are available but to car pass owners. I thought they said in the live stream they were going to be available on Thursday.

I'm not bothering to get the cars, a few months later they'll be unlocked to buy normally, anyways. This is just to keep player engagement up while the game is in it's prime.

My guess for the wheel spacer.
It seems that they added spacers in alphabetical order by manufacturer name.
There are exceptions like the 2005 WRX, but as we move into the second half of the manufacturer's list, we will see few cars with added spacers. Even a popular car.

So after I did yesterday's Daily Forzathon skill thing and got my 5th of 7 (the Wrecking Ball one), I finally reached 80% overall, but the Capri FE didn't get gifted to me. And then I did today's skill (one Awesome Air), filled that in, and still was left at 80%, no car. I likely won't be around to do the last daily skill thing tomorrow unless I go for it first thing in the morning, so if I don't get 7/7 for the daily challenges, am I going to be screwed out of the FE car I've been waiting 6+ months for due to a rounding error? I'm bummed enough that I missed the 914.

Did the Forzathon barn find cars in FH3 eventually get unlocked for regular purchase? Or the Horizon Edition cars? They've unlocked a lot of things in FM7, but that's no guarantee it will be repeated.

Wait... does DeBerti have some sort of special deal with Microsoft when every car they made irl come to Forza the next update? It's a nice car by the way and would love to try it. At the same time I think we have more than enough F150 and Mustangs this time around..
