Here's another video featuring the Lexus LFA, and let me tell you, it sounds INCREDIBLE! Period.

Doesn't even sound remotely close to the Carrera GT at all!

My mind and body are ready for the LFA but my stereo speakers are not though. Time for an upgrade.

The LFA sample sounds accurate, but I think it could use an EQ cut to tone down the rattling and popping. Too much high frequency sheen. Then again, I won’t really judge it until it plays on my own system.

I thought LFA would have the same sound as it did in older games, but it seems like PG went and re-recorded the sound for LFA.

Can't wait to drive it again! It's been a long time coming.

The police cars are in The Eliminator already. I’ve driven the Hillman Imp, Jaguar Mk II, Chevy Impala, and M-B SLS AMG. I’ve also seen the Crown Vic and an Audi RS4, all with working light bars. The downside is I get disconnected from multiplayer after each game ends. Upside to the downside is if I get a car in the wheel spin, it offers me the option of selling it as a duplicate.

Also happened in two out of three games I have played. Does the disconnect warning actually have an impact on anything or is it just a meaningless glitch?

No, a duplicate like the other one I got a prompt to sell. That’s the strange part.

If anyone didn't know, the AE86's, umm, "shift" animation, got fixed in this update. No more crotch shift!

Hearing the LFA in game makes me really want to see the 4.8L V10 made available as an engine swap for more cars. Imagine a Trueno rolling up next to you sounding like that.

Since it happens after the race is over, it's just a meaningless glitch.

I had six of those. Besides those two, I also got the skeleton morph suit, chicken suit, high-vis police uniform, and the historic racing suit. Except that I already had all six of those items. At least now that little number is cleared out.
