Yup, it's been known since launch (some people got it through mods or for compensation before it was released). I'm a bit surprised they didn't fix it before releasing it, but it is what it is lol.

Is it just the PO model? I don't remember this being the case on the normal Focus.

Remember the LFA wasn't on the list. Just because the list is mostly correct doesn't mean that's all we're getting.

I did - That's why I said it was expected. Cannot say the same for every other previous car that isn't a Toyota or Lexus.

You're right though, but a developing pattern appears to be shaping up around the leaked list.

Glad the Focus will be available all day today, so hopefully I can snag it tonight after work. And if not, then I still have Valentine's day.

I've already given up trying to watch today's episode of Forza Monthly. My ears bleed whenever the new host randomly shouts in every other sentence. Not sure why she cannot carry on where Brian's constant calm left off.

Edit: It's actually a different host this month, but the presenter style seems to be roughly the same as previous. Sigh.

They just mentioned on the Stream that Ford swapped out the F1 engine for a 3.0L V6 to make it easier for the press to drive, and that is the version in game.

Oh screw off with that.

Alright, you can put the original engine back in, but why not just go full hog with it?

That's real dumb. They should go with what the original car had and was intended to have.

More or less. 99% of people that know about the Supervan 3 are going to want it with the F1 engine. Offering it as a racing swap and going with the V6 out the gates just seems really...pointless? Nobody is going to want it in the V6 configuration anyway.

They said they models the cars as they are sourced. When they got their hands on it for reference data it had the V6, so that is how they modeled it.

Which isn't true. It's a 2.9, and it was for maintenance reasons - "press" don't generally drive these cars, it's more for certified Ford personnel during events.

Last time I was at the heritage garage they were having issues even getting the gearbox serviced, as a stressed member in the C100 chassis.

But how do you model something that doesn't exist anymore?

It's like modeling the Mazda Furai and expecting it to look like something else than this:

Creative liberities. :sly:

I'll absolutely still drive it, but it just kind of weird.
