I remember in the '90s there was someone who sold a single rear tire that looked just like two tires. That's what this Quadra has. A single wide rear tire that looks like two.

Someone managed to make a Super7 blueprint for everyone to try. Share code: 242 231 884! Enjoy!
Can't say I'm surprised, I've already run across a bunch of "glitch levels" that let people drive things they're not supposed to have access to, including traffic drones. The one I tried to play hard crashed the game though, so I can't say I'm keen to mess with them anymore.

I also found a Turist bus and all the upcoming cars. And of course some players will allways find/try a way to break the game. I'm against it but if this is the only way to drive traffic cars... than I guess it's fine for me.

The rear tires of the Quadra V-Tech are very wide.
Could this be the car with the widest rear tires of all time in the Forza?

That's only because it has two wheels on each rear axle.

I had one that had the Nullcar.

Used the Bentley Turbo R for the championship and regret it I wasn't drive it more before. Such a beauty and fun to drive off road.
The Hammer is also one of my favorite retro saloons and with the wide body kit it look kind of menacing. It's gorgeous and whoever put forza aero on it should be banned! JK.
I will drive those two most of the time this week. Oh, and the Austin 7 too.

Gameplay last night was profitable. I finally got the TR7.

I tried the share code for the Cypberpunk car. I like that it's a super simple challenge and you have 30 minutes to play with it. I took it for a drive around the outside of the course. The handling is amazing. Makes sense with the size of those tires. Top speed isn't bad, but it's no Koenigsegg or Bugatti. On the jump through the windmill, even with miles of build up to get there, it just barely cleared the road. Probably only in the 900-1000 foot range. Still, I see this as being a real monster in Forzathon Live events.

Finally I got the Hammer coupe this morning. I photographed it doing what it does best: turn tires into liquid goo.

You'd think that a car from 2077 would have better aerodynamics.
To be fair cyberpunk is what the 1980's thought the future was going to be like, and the most popular supercars of the time were all wedge shaped. Not really a surprise that it's basically a Ferrari 512 TR, but with with slightly rounded edges.

In other news, I'm glad that I finally got to experience just how disappointing the TR7 is. For those that don't know, the car was originally meant to use the 16-valve engine from the Dolomite Sprint, but after the design went through several revisions by committee, the dimensions had changed to the point where that engine was too tall to fit in the engine bay, meaning they had to fit a weaker version with an 8-valve head instead. And even that looks like it barely fits in there...

Even with Horizon's generous physics, you can just feel it struggle to get out of its own way. The solid axle and coil springs in the back (another cost-cutting measure, in true British Leyland style) makes it kinda fun to kick the back end out though, when it finally gets up to respectable speed.

The Quadra kind of reminds me of what would happen if the Testarossa and the De Tomaso Pantera fused somehow. It's a pretty cool design, and I can't wait to drive it (in a game that isn't riddled with bugs).

I have to admit, I'm mostly interested in what the upgrading options will be. Having tried it for about47.8 seconds in a Super7 challenge, it has obscene amounts of grip as you'd expect from those ridiculously fat tires, but it feels like it could definitely use some more low-end power. The engine sound is also kind of underwhelming, in my opinion.

But hey, I'm not complaining too hard if it's free and easily obtainable.

Hmm, also an exclusive car.
I love this car and want more than one. But I can only get one on my own. I have a lot of cr but am sick of paying 20 million cr to scalper.

I wanted to drive in a car that would look good as a rival to the Quadra V-Tech since it's such a great situation.
I see you used the Zero-Uno which it fit the theme. I also wanted to drive something futuristic and opted for the Apollo IE. Maybe the Rimac would fit better. Uhm...
It's just one race. Why do we have to stress ourselves with such trivial matters is something I can't understand.

It's rather disappointing that there's no way to see what the Quadra's tire sizes are, which means making a proper tune is not really possible. Even if you change the rims there's no size adjustment option for them to get that info. A real shame considering that even if converted from AWD to RWD, it still has massive amounts of understeer.

Oh well. At least it looks cool.

I stumbled across a Super 7 challenge with a Jesko on the motorway, forgot the exact name but it was something along the lines of "Reach 475kph before it releases". Managed to reach 295mph, with wheelspin all the way up to fifth gear.

Forgot to take pictures, but I'm assuming this was using the same method that others are using to access the Quadra and traffic cars.

More speculation/question time

One of the latest xbox wire posts had this interesting quote..

From Xbox Game Studios, 2021 will see the Master Chief’s return in Halo Infinite, a new brain-bending odyssey in Psychonauts 2, and some surprises we haven’t announced yet. Your favorite games will also continue to grow with you, with 30 pieces of new content coming to several of our franchises next half, including Forza, Sea of Thieves, Grounded and much more. Looking further ahead, you will also hear more from teams across Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda.

Now AFAIK, the only other current Xbox Game Studios getting potential new pieces of content are Halo MCC, Gears 5 and maybe Minecraft. Remember that's new pieces of content, not necessarily just an update with bug fixes etc.

I think out of those 6 games listed, it's highly likely Forza Horizon 4 is a decent chunk of those 30 updates. Potentially 12 of them?

Maybe there is another 12 Series updates which = another years worth of content for Forza Horizon 4.

If so, do you think its a good or bad thing they're supporting the game potentially this long?

I definitely think it's a smaller team (within PG's Forza studio) currently doing the live service for FH4, whilst a larger team is working on the next Forza Horizon. Would you rather PG sunset FH4 and get all developers on FH5 or continue the status quo? I guess judging by the Xbox article, it looks support will continue for a while at least. Just curious to hear people thoughts on this. If you're excited for more potentially another year of FH4 support or not so much.

Well, if FH4 is getting support for a whole other year, I think FH5 in 2021 is out the window. It wouldn't make much sense to still be pushing out so much content for FH4 with your new title less than a year away from release.

I don't know if that has been mentioned before but doing the last race in the Tree Hugger championship there's an Alfa 155 lined up (which we all know it's coming) running on the... Michelin tires :odd: (sorry for the bad picture quality - taken quickly on my phone)

AFAIK only Forza tires have been available before - or am I wrong?

These small Influence payouts sure make it feel like a grind to get the TR7.

The worst part is how the challenges that hand out a lot of XP are the popular ones that usually require no effort, whereas the fun challenges people spent hours creating often aren’t getting their share of deserved attention, and thereby give virtually no XP.

So I think it was a mistake to tie XP to popularity. Maybe it would have been better if XP had correlation with challenge lenght in minutes and miles driven. Custom worlds could then add an additional XP bonus depending on how much of builder budget there was spent by the challenge creator.

Hopefully there’s more balance in Super7 once that hardcore’ish mode unlocks later on. Overall I think it has big potential and it can really help FH4 to reach cult status, because it’s pretty unreal how there’s on the one hand this massive car list and on the other hand this “rollercoaster” builder in which there’s a whole new creative genre to explore.
