I just don’t see it. In fact, if anything, you’ve convinced me of how accurate the model is. I honestly think it’s all in your head. You’ve convinced yourself it’s off-model, and despite the visual evidence to the contrary, you can’t see it any other way.
Really? Just looking at those two pictures, it looks wrong to me. I'll have to do some overlays later. Couple things that are describable/observable:
Look at the distance from the pop-up headlight closure line to the fixed lamps. In real life, it's about a quarter the width of the fixed lamp. In the game, it's basically the full width. (this translates to it looking weird when the headlights are up) Then look at how the front wing/fender curves in on the real car (where it meets the front bumper) whereas it's mostly flat in the model. The edges of the front bumper itself are more simple and rectangular-edged than the real car. The curvature of the tops of the "fenders" (or whatever you would call the top surface of the front outside of the frunk) is different between the images. These are all minor nitpicks, but I genuinely feel like the model is also proportionally wrong. I'll have to break out the photoshop later to prove it, but I *think* the Forza model is too short (in length I mean) versus its height.
