Was the new update really just 800 mb? I saw the update literally the last second before finish.
The Emory RSR is an Extreme Track Toy... I'm not sure it will fit well. Maybe it is really a little monster. Will see soon.

@ PC MS Store peeps,

Does your game show up in your library? For me, I apparently own 0 games, and maybe because of this, updates don't happen automatically, and there doesn't seem to be a way to trigger it to update either.

Have you tried clearing your MS Store cache? I've had issues in the past with not being able to update which clearing the cache generally fixes.

Got the Emory, tried a S1 tune but wasn't really happy. Upgraded to S2 and now I just love it. Not really a fan of S2 class but this car is just pure joy. It handles a little bit weird in the beginning but after a while it's near perfect... at least for me. We do have to many 356, but this one is definitely my favorite.

I think this month will be the one where I step back from aiming for 80% every week and go for 50% at most - the Forzathons are all repeats from the last few months, and this week's series races are D500 vans again, A800 Holdens on dirt again, and D500 cult cars again. I'm pretty sure the vans were last done only two weeks ago!

It seems like the pool of prize cars is getting smaller and smaller too - I presume they don't want to give out cars that are now in the Backstage scheme, but it just means a Trueno and at least one Celica every month. It was nice to get the first couple to do different builds with, but at this point they might as well be in the showroom to buy.

Downloading as I speak, sold my PS4 pro two days ago as I hardly used it anymore with my new found addiction to Microsoft Flight Simulator on PC, so thought I’d give this a whirl seeing as it’s on sale on Steam, what’s it like with a controller ? as I’m keeping my dedicated sim rig together for when I eventually get a PS5 so this will not be hooked up to my wheel set up

It's great with controller, basically made for it :)

I take back everything I said about the Emory. I love the thing. I haven’t gotten out of the car since I got it last week. It’s crazy fun to drive.
I think I might have to leave it. I can't get enough points for 50%. Main problem is getting that effing big truck to get three stars through a speed trap.

The Astmoor speed trap only requires 140mph with quite a decent run-up - you can either tune the engine a little bit and scrape through, or simply swap in the 2400hp Volvo engine to make it fairly easy.
This what I did. Astmoor has an easy approach from either direction. I tuned the engine with some go fast parts and got 145 mph pretty easy. For the three “road races” (they mean street scene), I just dumbed down the competition to “new driver”.

I also love its exhaust placement where it shoots three large flames, especially from it's turbo-linked exhausts. That's probably the reason why they call it the Outlaw.

Yeah that did the trick alright - got it first go. I thought I had examined all the speed traps to find an easy one but I overlooked that one for some reason or another. So thanks for pointing it out.

Yeah, I normally play these Forzathone competitions - where you can win something - at the "average" level, just to get them over with and to make it not too boring. But I got whacked doing this with the truck, the opposition just nipping past me on every corner. So I also dumbed it down to "new driver" and it still wasn't that easy, I'm ashamed to admit.

I thought that changing the difficulty just changed your starting position on the grid. Unbeatable, you start at the back of the grid and with each level down on difficulty you move up the grid. The AI acts the same no matter which difficulty your on. Is this not how it works?

The AI is significantly faster on Unbeatable. But it really depends on the type of race, car and tune. Some cars are easy no matter what combo. But than you have cars like the the Benz truck that can be a challenge even on the easiest settings.

Nothing for me in the Shop this week again.

Rossion Q1 was the prize for Super 7 two weeks ago, so that's not going to be needed for anyone unless you missed out on Super 7.

This week's Super 7 prize is seemingly just a wheelspin which is rather useless :(. I hope that is not a sign of all the weeks to come being the same...

I’m hoping the Maserati Levante comes up in the shop or as a prize car or something soon. My best friend has been playing a lot of FH4 lately, and that is one of the very few cars he doesn’t have. For weeks he’s been checking the auction house constantly and he hasn’t seen a single one come up.

No it isn't quite as simple as that. At many difficulty levels it is quite easy to get into the lead, or at least into a leading position, quite early in the race. But at the higher levels the AI can really give you a very hard time even when you do get into the lead. But this is only generally true.

A tip for newbies. Make sure to pick up the Holden this week as I've not seen it this year.
Next week grab the Mustang Boss
And in Spring grab the Porsche 906, as well as the new Firebird.

The above are the cars I don't have for the rest of this season.

According to @Milouse Kudosprime, I have 113 cars left to get which will be 110 after the above 👍
