I believe the (free) Mitsubishi Pack was returned since they accidentally put a Mitsubishi car into this week's seasonal playlist.

The problem is that Steam has FH4 at 80% off right now, and they suddenly got a large influx of new players, who then started complaining at not being able to do the playlist event. So the Forza team quickly fixed it today by reactivating the Mitsubishi Pack.

Don't assume all the other DLC packs will return, since if a Gamepass user buys a paid DLC before delisting it would give them the base game for free, and Microsoft wants to avoid people knowingly doing that, so the Treasure Map and Hot Wheels DLC car pack are probably not going to return to avoid people paying a couple of $ to get the FH4 base game free as Gamepass users.

I'm going to have to check those when I get home.

I feel like adding all the exclusive cars to the backstage pass should have happened a LONG time ago. The problem with replacing the reward cars in the playlists with backstage passes has been that it has made loads of cars completely unobtainable, as there's never anything available in the AH due to the defective price setting algorithm that doesn't allow people to sell cars for realistic prices. So the cars were taken out of the playlist rotation and replaced with backstage passes, but you couldn't buy those cars with backstage passes.

The other thing they should do is make it so you can buy at least 3 of each car available via the backstage pass. Some cars can be good for multiple classes or types of racing, and you need to have multiple copies as there are scenarios where you can't pick a car and apply a tune, the car has to already be available with the tune you want at the time of picking it.

I just wish I had saved up my backstage passes, as I only have one now. I've bought maybe 20 cars I'm not that bothered about, but when Aug 22 comes around there will be loads of cars available that I'd much rather have than the ones I've already spent the passes on.

We don't know how much they will charge, but you can swap Forzathon points for backstage passes once season 77 ends. Why not save up some Forzathon points while you wait?

I'm still 16 cars short of 100% garage completion myself, and should be able to get all of them except the 911 GT3 Preorder car, which is supposedly a reward from The Eliminator so I'll just accept not having it...

IMO, winning the Eliminator in FH4 is easier than in FH5. I had a handful of victories myself, but still nothing in 5's

Nope. I don’t have access to them, either.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing, I'm only doing the forzathon playlist item each week, and maybe the daily forzathon challenges. There are no backstage passes for weekly 50% completion, so the only useful thing you can do this month is get forzathon points.

I had all the cars, including every PO car, on my Xbox account, so it's nice I'll be able to get them on my Steam account as well now, assuming the effort needed to get the points for a pass is reasonable.

Those are both great cars, and I think they were both only available in FH4. Glad to get them back.

Can confirm that the Sunbeams work again! All that's left is the VIP stuff, Formula Drift and 007

Well in just a few hours FH4’s final playlist will end and we get the new backstage pass with all hard to find cars added.

Reddit is speculating that cars will be 250 Forzathon points each, which would be good since I have plenty saved to immediately buy every missing car for my garage (except the preorder 911 GT3 RS which is an eliminator reward and won’t be there).

Anyone else looking forward to finally getting the cars which never appeared in the repeat playlists?

Definitely, I have 4 car passes and 2.3k forzathon points saved up ready for this day!

I had all the cars on my Xbox account, including all the pre-order cars from when you could get them from the AH, but started afresh when I got the game on Steam.

I did some Eliminator while waiting for today to arrive, so already have the 911 PO.

I hope they make it possible to get more than 1 or do something else to save people from accidentally deleting an exclusive car and being unable to ever own that car again.

Backstage passes confirmed at 250 forzathon points:

However you can only buy 1 per week apparently. And right now the backstage pass shop has the same car list as always, no new cars have been added.

Seems broken to me...

And you can still only get one copy. I'm not going to even try to delete an exclusive car to see if it lets me!

The UI seems a bit broken in general now that the playlist is gone as a way to access seasonal activities. I don't see why they couldn't have kept the playlist as a way to access the activities that are still there anyway, but just got rid of the rewards for % completion. E.g. you seem to have to physically go to a seasonal championship to see what the reward is for completing it, and even then it doesn't give any info other than the name of the car, so you have to go elsewhere to look up whether it's a car that is worth getting or not.

yeah, seeing the seasonal events on the map but no details on them was just odd.

There are now 148 cars in the Backstage Pass list (I counted them!) including all the added cars. So I finally have that bloody 1974 Toyota Corolla

I have 3 cars left to acquire, one Preorder car to get next week, and the 2 Eliminator cars which i refuse to grind Eliminator for.

Now that the final playlist has finished, I will add to this that:

1) There is now a "Summer" monthly rivals race, which suggests these might change every week (could just be one a month though). Plus all circuits and races in the game still have "Rival" time trial leaderboards.

2) There is a weekly Forzathon, which will provide something varied to do each week (see screenshot below). This gets you Forzathon points which you can spend in the shop. The shop now includes the ability to buy one "Backstage Pass" each week.

3) The player created "Blueprint Events" are still available - lots of variety in these.

4) There are 148 cars in the Backstage Pass list (I just counted them) which means a new player needs (148/52) just under 3 years as a minimum to acquire them all... All the cars not included previously have been added in alphabetical order, but the ones that were already included are still haphazard at the end of the list.

My main gripe with the Backstage Pass list is the fact that you can't filter it (e.g. to only show cars not owned), so you have to scroll through the whole list.

After the final playlist the seasons will not changing anymore???
They change weekly just like before. If you look in the Forzathon screen you can see that we are in Summer now.

Seasonal events still exist too, they just don't have a tracking screen anymore, so you can only see the rewards when you enter a seasonal event. Just filter the map for seasonal events to see what I mean.
