Excited about the upcoming update as well but I don't have much to add other than what's already been said. Meanwhile... finishing races in style. :P

So it seems it's possible to set class limits for Custom Route races. All you have to do is while you're making the event in the blueprint menu, set the class restriction, then change from the normal race route to your custom route, and the class restriction'll still be in effect.
That’s handy, I’ll have to try that as my club runs Class-based races.

I imagine most of the new rims will be the ones that were new to FM7 but didn’t make the jump across to FH4. That would be able 20 or so, roughly. I was a bit bummed when I saw that many of those didn’t make it across.

The paint options sound great. Hopefully we see the livery features that were added late to FM7, make their way across as well. The option to flip and transfer individual vinyl groups to the opposite side of the car saved a lot of time.

Was there a date for the update announced?

IIRC there was only around 8 rims that were new to FM7 that didn't make it in FH4

There might be a few more that were in FM7 that were older ones (like the Konig Afterburners) that might be added in too. Not sure how many there are of those.

Every content update has 4 seasons in it. We are now in week 2 out of 4 of the current CU in fall. We still have winter and spring to go. The Tuesday of the spring week the new CU will be released and from Thursday on in that week the new 4 seasons start with summer season. Or in short: nov 20th for the update.

Actually looking at @ManteoMax's spreadsheet, if you add up all of the "missing" wheels that are in FM7 but not in FH4, you get 41.

So yeah I doubt any of the wheels will be new, they'll all be from FM7, makes sense too considering the timing of the update.
I'm perfectly fine with that because there were some rims from Forza 7 that I fell in love with, only to find that they didn't make the jump to Horizon 4.

What do you mean by refusing to load?
They aren't in your garage, or the dlc section doesn't let you put the dlc cars in your garage?

I have the cars in my garage, but whenever I try to select them, it says there was an error in the marketplace.

Seeing 2 for 1 billboards and Belle coffee signs, not sure if hitting them means anything.

BINMAN is 1000 but not all bins give you points, what is the deal with that?

2 for 1 billboard and coffee signs mean nothing. You have to wait for the Binman skill to go away before you can get another one.

So, like most of you guys, I made a super long race for grinding. Takes roughly 11 minutes for an S2 car to complete it.

Then like some of you guys I had the bright idea of lapping the entire track in a stock Peel P50.

And now I can't feel roughly 75% of my fingers.

Oooh, found these upcoming fixes;

  • Fixes for various connectivity issues, including dead sessions (I’ve had multiple instances when there’s been less than 20 people in my game. For reference, servers have a 72-player capacity).
  • The post-race cutscenes can now be skipped.
  • Ability to Add All DLC cars to Garage in one go.
  • Improvements to Photo Mode (namely, cars will only be ghosted if they are inside each other).
  • Fix for the Barn Find Achievement (I didn’t have this problem, but I know lots of players who have been unable to unlock the Achievement due to a bug).
  • Improved Car Resets in Team Adventure – there are no wider improvements to the Team Adventure modes, but the issues have been noted and the team are investigating ways to make the mode more enjoyable.
Where did you find these? They're not on the official Forza forums...

5th place. Not bad. XD

Assume there is a trick other than flying through the air in getting influence boards on roofs, the one on beach building real tough.

Set the sat-nav to it so you have the destination marker to aim for. Then you just need to get your speed right for the flight, which might well take a few tries!

As teased earlier in the thread, i just added a new section on K' FH4: Car Masteries and Perks.
The logic here is that we select a perk, then we have a list of all known Perks Grids grouped by the given perk rank, then we can list all known cars having that grid(s):
upload_2018-11-6_21-52-31.png

The K' database currently includes 77.2% of all car masteries grids. That's basically my garage, but the more i advance, the more difficult it is to complete the grids. If someone want to contribute, sharing a pic of the screen of any missing car Mastery grid by any way (but not in this thread), it would be welcome (by all, i guess).

Also,
1. In the main car list, cars with a known car mastery have a triangle after their name.
2. On a car page with a known car mastery, there's a button to see other cars with the exact same grid.

I dont have handbrake, I do have many cars, cant list them all. Which cars are best for drifting?

Best car for getting enough air to get influence boards on roofs?

Fast time travel board on top of church? What the heck, I see no way to get that.

Because the preferences and skills are different by the players, we can not decide the best drift car.
As a choice for beginners, Formula Drift car with low horsepower is recommended (#98 BMW & #118 240SX). If you conversion it to AWD, you can easily earn 3 stars in the off road drift zone.

If you prefer RWD, Mazda RX-7 Spirit R will be a good choice.
Just by installing all the race upgrades in this car, it turns into a good drift car.

Wow, I really wish I had gotten a physical copy of Horizon 4. Currently, due to an issue on Xbox Live, it’s impossible to play any digitally downloaded games. Even trying to play offline doesn’t work. Ridiculous. 👎

Edit: Everything seems to be working now. But still, not a good position to be in at all.

In the break time from some busy studies, I decided to test tire compounds in a low powered front wheel drive at a street circuit I made, in hopes to really identify the most efficient compound to use. As of yet to try other surfaces and types of vehicles but here’s my tests so far: (Each done in 5 laps, 2 runs for each compound)

Ford Escort RS Turbo Stock with no upgrades.

1:59.407 Stock- 506
1:55.762 Street 541
1:53.956 Sport 563
1:54.109 Drag 560
1:51.677 Rally. 576
1:50.901 Race 591

When I get time would making a thread of testing things like compounds off road and things like track widening, swaps to tunes be worthy?

You can play digital games offline, but you have to set your console as your home Xbox. Click here for instructions.

On a different note, I found this on Insta and thought it was worth sharing here

I think the clothes on the wheelspins is the only downside for me on FH4 that I've encountered so far. It's so tedious.

Agreed, I've only being playing for a few days but I've gone through about 35-40 wheelspins in that time and I think I've only won 5 cars from them. Credits come too but the majority of my winnings consist of horns, dances and clothing. I only figured out how to use the horn last night and I don't even know why it features in the game. I've changed my clothing once just to look at what I had and I still don't think I've seen a dance move yet.
